    Series rotation is as such: Schilling v. Meche Beckett v. Perez Matsuzaka v. Greinke EDIT: Don't know where else to put this, and it doesn't merit it's own thread, but...Jorge Cantu was optioned to AAA and Elijah Dukes wil start the year on the big club. Thought that was interesting.

    Not happening. Ichiro hasn't been the same player as he was in 2001. He is still a fantastic player, but I'd take Manny over him. EDIT: He had a better 2004 than 2001...but still I'd take Manny over him.

    It kinda sucks that 3 of the first 4 games are afternoon weekday games...means I'll miss the first few innings of all of them.

    Yeah I would say Karstens gets the 5th spot. I wouldn't rush Hughes even with the opening. If there is an open spot in say July, they should definitely consider it. But right now the Yankees rotation from 3-5 is a gigantic ?

    The market is unbelievably bloated. Anyways, Gary Matthews Jr, Gil Meche and other friends got paid more than Julio Lugo. I'd say Lugo is better than both of them. This offseason, the Red Sox really improved. Last year they were a mediocre team, this year they look A LOT better. If that isn't a good job, what is?

    It's about the money and the situation. Clemens now has a spot on the team here if he wants it, same with the Yankees and Astros. It is not about feelings. If it was about feelings, Clemens would never consider coming back here. Now it comes down to who can pony up the most dough.
