1. Wow, Tabata has to be taken away on a stretcher after running down the line. Hope he's okay.
2. Not the best inning. JD Drew is kinda pathetic.
3. Here we go. I hope this GT is active today; I have nothing else to do.
4. Second shot for Andrew Miller. Salvage this s***.
5. A most unfortunate result.
6. Nelson Cruz had a 3-2 count, took a ball, and stayed at the plate. Nobody noticed it was ball four. He struck out two pitches later.
7. It would really suck to lose a series to the Pirates. So don't.
8. They traded him to New Jersey for JaJuan Johnson, though.
9. Looks to be a good pitching matchup. Sox better win, or else people are really going to flip out here.
10. If you watch the video he is definitely not exactly the same. And guys, I'm not saying he doesn't suck. I'm wondering why he sucks.
11. Wait so is there actually a chance this game gets completely scrapped? Or if they have to call it, would it be suspended for later?
12. This field is completely unplayable right now. There are enormous puddles.
13. Sweet, I remember doing this last night too.
14. I posted this in the GT but it will get more views here. I've been noticing that Lackey's delivery seems different since he got back from the DL. Thanks to MLB.tv I went back to the Home Opener and compared it to Friday night: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Krams706/Screenshot2011-06-22at22003PM.png http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Krams706/Screenshot2011-06-22at22155PM1.png Don't really know how to describe it, but it is visibly different. He is holding the ball lower, and his left leg is out a bit more. And it's helping.
Time|IP|ERA|WHIP|K/9|H/9|BB/9|HR/9|STR%|BABIP Pre-DL|39 1/3|8.01|1.81|4.35|12.13|4.12|1.14|59%|.331 Post-DL|19 2/3|5.03|1.07|6.86|7.77|1.83|.915|65%|.273
Everything is clearly a lot better, especially the WHIP. However his BABIP went from too high to too low. I can't decide if I expect him to improve or not. Thoughts?
15. I'm curious to see if McDonald can get his OPS+ down below 0. I believe this would make his offensive talents to that of a paper bag using a spatula as a bat. He is at 5 now.
16. Oh well, that's baseball. SD bullpen made up for last night.
17. Wow, that went a long way. Alright, score run(s) and such.
18. That's huge. Big guns coming up.
19. Big AB here. Being down 1 is quite different from being down 3. FYI.
