  1. Christina Kahrl reports that its officially called for tonight, and will be finished tomorrow at an undetermined time (probably around 8).
  2. Tomorrow night looks playable. Forecast calls for few showers/wind early on (8-9), then no more precip from 10 on. Won't be pretty, but not nearly as bad as tonight.
  3. Ok. Seems like that's what they would do.
  4. Wow, I never knew that. But if they suspend it and continue play tomorrow, can they carry on from 2-2 in the 6th?
  5. Either way I can't imagine them actually doing that. The Rays (and basically everyone else besides the Phillies) would go ballistic.
  6. That doesn't make any f***ing sense.
  7. No, it means its tied. You can't just wipe the 6th inning off the board. If they can't resume play tonight, they do so tomorrow and pick up right where they left off.
  8. The Rays tied it in the 6th. Even if the Phils won it, I can't imagine, from a PR perspective, that they would end the World Series on a shortened game.
  9. Tarp on, this is trouble. Good thing the game is tied.
  10. Bout time Pena gets going. 2-2.
  11. If they delay it, it probably will not get picked up again. The forecast calls for rain through the entire night. Either muddle through or suspend it for tomorrow.
  12. Yeah, I kind of assume that won't happen. The league would not be pleased by that.
  13. So I guess if the field/rain got so bad that they had to call it, they'd just pick the game up where they left off tomorrow?
  14. Ouch on the ball four call.
  15. Rain is getting a lot heavier now, but it would take a lot more for a delay.
  16. Longoria and Pena, getting hits in the World Series? Bizarre.
  17. 2-0. Phils well on their way...
  18. Cole Hamels is really good.
  19. His value is pretty depreciated, I wouldn't deal him for 80 cents on the dollar.
  20. I doubt neither Manny nor CC return to their respective teams.
  21. Phils certainly have the edge tonight. I'd like to see it go back to St. Pete and have the Phils win it there.
  22. Yeah Wakefield is definitely not a clubhouse cancer.
  23. It's fun to speculate based on media sources, but you're right, a lot of the real stuff comes from left field.
  24. If Chien-Ming Wang coverage 24/7 is your thing.
  25. Holy shiatsu, 10-2.
