Christina Kahrl reports that its officially called for tonight, and will be finished tomorrow at an undetermined time (probably around 8).

Tomorrow night looks playable. Forecast calls for few showers/wind early on (8-9), then no more precip from 10 on. Won't be pretty, but not nearly as bad as tonight.

Wow, I never knew that. But if they suspend it and continue play tomorrow, can they carry on from 2-2 in the 6th?

Either way I can't imagine them actually doing that. The Rays (and basically everyone else besides the Phillies) would go ballistic.

No, it means its tied. You can't just wipe the 6th inning off the board. If they can't resume play tonight, they do so tomorrow and pick up right where they left off.

The Rays tied it in the 6th. Even if the Phils won it, I can't imagine, from a PR perspective, that they would end the World Series on a shortened game.
