  1. He's Jack Cust-esque. Not the injuries, but the BA/OBP difference. He'd be a pretty good player if he actually played.
  2. Longoria had a sick year, so him.
  3. Duuude that was awesome! But wasn't it 2007?
  4. From NESN studio to managing a playoff team! Congrats to Macha.
  5. -Jon Lester's no hitter. -Justin Masterson, Jed Lowrie and Michael Bowden's major league debuts, and for Masterson and Lowrie, a successful MLB season. -The playoffs: The fantastic ALDS, including being at the 12 inning loss in Game 3, and of course Game 5 of the ALCS. -The Coco vs Shields Brawl -Waking up at 5 AM for Opening Day baseball. EDIT: And soxfan17881, did you make that? Nice job.
  6. Ken Griffey Jr and Toby Hall had their options declined by Chicago.
  7. Darvish is supposed to be sick, but didn't he say he was staying in Japan?
  8. Pedroia. He was studly, and he played at a weak offensive position.
  9. Going with Lincecum too. 2.62 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 10.51 K/9. My 2nd place is Johan Santana but Lincecum has the K's on him, H/9, HR/9 too. And Lincecum did it with a .312 BABIP.
  10. Yeah, Cliff Lee is my obvious choice. Led MLB in VORP for pitchers, wins, ERA, BB/9, adjusted ERA. 2nd in WHIP and 3rd in K/BB.
  11. I'm gonna go with Geovany Soto. He led MLB in VORP for a rookie, had a very good .868 OPS and 23 HR, which are extremely good for any catcher, let alone a rookie.
  12. Albert Pujols in a landslide. He had a 96.8 VORP, which is a Ray Durham (16.1 VORP) more valuable than the 2nd highest VORP in baseball, Hanley Ramirez. He was 2nd in BA and OBP, 1st in SLG, OPS, Total Bases, Runs Created, Batting Wins, Offensive Win %.
  13. That was fast. Jacobs has some really good power, too bad he can never get on base.
  14. Word, I might be able to go to a Sox game in Washington.
  15. I'm just a massive buzzkill, thats why.
  16. Yeah, didn't sound true, and it isn't.
  17. Hamels sounds like a whiny bitch.
  18. Nevermind, Hamels wins WS MVP.
  19. Hamels would be playoff MVP, dunno about WS.
  20. "The wait is over."-A 28 year wait really is brutal, huh? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA Selig's getting the s*** booed out of him. Even 5 minutes after they win a title, they're pissed.
  21. Congrats Phillies. That was actually a really good series, all the games were great except the 4th. Too bad it'll be remembered by the suspension.
  22. A basically perfect season and Pujols still haunts his dreams.
  23. Hinske is the last hope, ouch.
  24. Great play by Iwamura. Going to the 8th!
