If he didn't take the timeout, then it goes to 2 minute warning on 2nd down, and then we get the ball back with 15 seconds left instead of 1:15. You have to take it then.

You can hear the cheerleaders pretty well, at least on my TV. Pretty annoying, but it drowns out the suck that is Cris Collinsworth. 10-3 Jets after 1.

Yeah I pretty much agree. If you want to go get Teixeira too, you can, and stick Swisher in CF. If not, Swisher can play 1B and you can play Gardner/Melky/someone else at CF.

Yeah, after Peavy I don't see them getting another top notch guy, but maybe whoever the Rays discard (Sonnanstine or Edwin Jackson), or Brian Bannister or Ian Snell type guy. Jorge Campillo had a solid rookie season, and Jair Jurrjens had an okay year. Again, they're not for this year also because of the Phillies and Mets, but I don't think getting Peavy is a fool's mission.
