  1. Ahaha I just saw that.
  2. LOL I just saw that. But Steve Phillips said that Dontrelle Willis would win 15+ games. Off the bat, I can name 7+ pitchers that will be better than Smoltz in the East, without even thinking.
  3. Just for kicks, here are the PECOTAs for both players: Cabrera: .267/.326/.376/.702; 8 HR, 49 RBI, 10 SB in 484 PA Gardner: .253/.339/.351/.690; 4 HR, 32 RBI, 32 SB in 498 PA
  4. 18 combined at bats isn't nearly enough to make a decision. I probably go with Gardner, though. Especially with Jackson coming up, who should take over the job in 2010.
  5. Isn't Beau Mills the son of Brad Mills?
  6. Mike Vrabel to the Chiefs, hasn't been released who they're getting back. http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1155133
  7. For the record, I can't do Wednesdays until March 18 or later.
  8. Do you ever use up all 13 or is selling them your primary objective (not an accusation, just curious)?
  9. I heard this too, but the Giants got 5 A/Bs (RJ, Renteria, Affeldt, Uribe, Howry).
  10. Search function is your friend, PC.
  11. Their lineup is so much better than San Diego's. Here are the PECOTA projections: Guzman: .323/.361/.455/.816 Milledge: .281/.352/.442/.794 Zimmerman: .289/.358/.471/.828 Dunn: .262/.396/.541/.937 Dukes: .278/.386/.486/.872 Willingham: .266/.360/.466/.826 Flores: .252/.316/.432/.748 Belliard: .267/.337/.410/.747 They don't have very good pitching and that keeps them out of any playoff talk, but I'd give them 75 wins or so. And the Padres have Peavy and Young, but after that they have Wade LeBlanc, Kevin Correia and Cha Seung Baek. In their rotation. The Nats have a better back three than that.
  12. I like the Nationals more than the Padres.
  13. And that it's Prince Fielder.
  14. Even in the terrible AL West, the Mariners are basically a guaranteed 4th. They're awful.
  15. Yeahhhh beat those f***in' Twins. I hate them so much.
  16. Braves and Giants. Maybe Texas, but that's more because of the division.
  17. Congrats! You're teaching your children well.
  18. Ugh, Cowherd makes me want to poke pencils in my ears.
  19. Which is why he'll probably open in AAA. If he dominates like they expect him to, he'll be up in no time.
  20. Ray10! You're missing 1904 in your sig.
  21. Looking forward to seeing: Buchholz, Tazawa, Bard, Ramirez, Kottaras and Wilkerson.
  22. In Oakland? The Sox didn't lose at home that series.
