Easy buckets. That's what the Celts are not getting...easy buckets. In my opinion it is not the "stellar" Cavs 'D' that is responsible...it's lousy perimeter shooting coupled with zero movement without the ball and lack of gonads on the inside. The outside shot will open up things up...if someone will start hitting.

BTW, Lebron pulled quite the act after being "flagrantly" fouled...yeah there was some fairly decent contact, but his dramatic display was much overdone.

Exactly. Part of the issue is that when there is incidental contact, the refs have a tough time determining who a foul is on to begin with...so the foul goes to the visiting team. How many times last night did we see a Cav go up for a shot, and the Celtic defender jumps straight up, arms extended perfectly above their own head, and whether there is meaningful contact or not, the Celt is whistled for the foul? Happens in the celts favor in Boston too.

Nice flop by Osgood at the end too. I know Ribiero caught him in the arm/shoulder with the stick, but c'mon, he wailed on the ground like he was shot. I'm sick of the theatrics, plus Osgood did throw a butt end in his direction just before that. Still, it was a stupid, stupid move by Ribiero and he may be looking at a suspension. I'd love to see Osgood suspended too for instigating it with that butt end, whether it connected or not.

I just had a vision....It's a Saturday Night Live skit with the character Thumper being played by John Lovitz. And there's "Thumper" saying: "I'm gonna play in the....uhhh...the PCL, yeah the PCL....that's the ticket." "uhhh, I didn't play in the PCL....cuz I ummmm....uhhhh..had a sprained ankle....and uhhhh....I have to get another physical.....so, hmmmm....I'm going to play for the Zephyrs...yeah the Zephyrs....that's the ticket"

Pierce was not alone. Can Ray Allen hit a f***ing jump shot? Pc is right, the role players plus Garnett carried the team. If all of the "stars" play even decent, the game is not close.

Boy, GWP is one sour kraut, eh? (pun intended, racial insult not). Poor fella, his NAMBLA application was rejected on account of his being too gay. The GWP was the predecessor of what most call the Nazi Party...and I believe this tool had at least one racially tinged post so far...my guess is he's banned today.

I agree. I also fear that the dissapointment you speak of is coming. The Celts showed their flaws in those away games.

OK, so I got my wish, the Rangers and the Canadiens, the two teams I hate the most, are gone. Best scenario now is for a Detroit-Pittsburgh final. I'd enjoy that, especially if some hatred can be built into the series right away. First things first, though. I like: Pitts in 6 Detroit in 6

If I recall, he stated that he was fielding the bat, thinking it was the ball. This alone shoulda wiped out any credibility this guy had years ago.

Les Habitants are playing like Les Pussies right now. Only a few, IMO, have shown they're willing to pay the price. Meanwhile, the Flyers are just the opposite, with everyone going to the wall. Such a shame. Interestingly, an article in the Montreal Gazette a couple of days ago mentioned that Boston Bruins season ticket sales are up already. The writer thought it important to mention that this would mean less tix for the throngs of Montreal fans who invaded Boston during their round 1 of the 2008 playoffs. We should be so lucky.

I was watching an interview with Fleury after the Pens-Rangers game last night. He still had his leg pads on. The friggin things were immense...I mean ridiculously big. It's tough to tell on the ice how wide they are, but in this interview you could gain more perspective. No wonder there's nothing to shoot at.

While Youk may not be a 30 HR guy, Morneau would not likely hit 30 HRs a year playing half his games in Fenway, IMO.
