  1. If you make the Harden for Ariza trade there's no reason to penalize yourself.
  2. I think you need to drop a player, then. Or be "penalized" a spot or two in the power rankings a la the luxury tax penalty teams pay for going over the cap.
  3. Msu takes Ryan Lindell, K
  4. Also, we're going to do what the NBA thread is doing. Power ranking by PM, no ranking of your own team.
  5. Chart should be updated. I think we're missing a few picks. 22407, can you check your team and make sure it's all accounted for?
  6. You guys are great. Give me a second, I'll update.
  7. Dom Capers, HC
  8. Regarding the KR/PR issue, YH has it exactly right. There is no double-dipping of position players. Each slot gets one player and you draft two backups. MSU takes Andy Reid, HC I select Josh Freeman, BU QB
  9. F this run on head coaches HARD.
  10. Draft a young, fundamentally sound C to split time with Big Z as my backup center? A guy who I had on my radar 5+ rounds ago but was still available? A guy many feel could be a starting center in the league today if not for Dwight Howard? Sign me up.
  11. Anyone who has been a coach in the NFL (HC; DC, or otherwise) is eligible.
  12. I love the power rankings idea, so I'm going to steal it for the NFL draft too.
  13. Msu selects David Garrard, BU QB
  14. Uncapped year
  15. I'll take Jordy Nelson , WR
  16. That's such crap and you know it. If you had Vegas give odds on who would be cavorts between that team and the other three Pats Super Bowl Winning teams I guarantee the 07/08 Pats would be favored by close to a touchdown. Just because Edgar Renteria has two hits that helped teams win the world series doesn't mean I want him as the Sox's starting SS Next season.
  17. w/r/t the KR/PR question, think of it like it is in the NFL anyway... No one has their designated position as a KR or a PR, they're usually down the depth chart at RB/WR/DB anyway. I listed McCluster there because it's where he'll primarily see the field but I would have set plays run for the guy in my normal offense, much like SD does with Sproles.
  18. You're all absolutely ridiculous. The 2007/2008 Patriots are the best team any of you will get to watch during your lifetimes. That team would have dismantled any of the Patriots Super Bowl winning teams 9 times out of 10. Just because they lost the Super Bowl on the flukiest play I've ever seen in my life does not mean they are any lesser of a team than the Super Bowl winning teams are.
  19. Took Al Harrington with my last pick. Found it interesting a guy who can score like he does was available so late in the draft - but he helps round out my "scorers" quite nicely. A veteran presence to help my youngish team along doesn't hurt either.
  20. Damn Breaston is a great pick this late in the draft.
  21. I agree, that's why I said by the end of this year. Felton will get more exposure playing with Amare in NY and Wall will only get better as the year goes on.
  22. msu selects Chris Gocong, OLB
