Yeah, but I'd have to think the offenses in the AL East are slightly better than those in the NL. Just look at last league's interleague play and see how dominant the AL was.

One of Boras's favorite tactics is to use "the mystery team" to aid in negotiations. If the Sox can't get Gagne, I'd like to see them try to move Crisp in a deal instead of WMP. I think WMP has a lot more upside to him.

I think Gagne would be the #1 choice for closer, but when healthy Dotel could be an excellent bullpen arm.

OH MY GOD SHUT THE f*** UP. Duqette brought in a lot of key pieces to the 2004 team. Theo brought in the pieces that put them over the top. Why didn't Duquette make the playoffs in '01, '02 if he had such stacked teams.
