I like you already. Nice argument man. Just don't be surprised if Jacko doesn't respond. he doesn't use stats unless they go in his favor. I personally think Melky (along with a few other Yankees) are going to do some reverting to the mean and do so in a big way. The book will be out on Melky because he won't surprise anyone anymore as a rookie, and I think catchers will find a way to get him out more efficiently.

Crisp for Gonzalez is really buying low. For all the people who were defending Crisp this past year it seems he's being shown the door rather quickly.

Good move. Trading for someone like Donnelly (while he's not as good as he used to be) is a move the Sox had to make...and if it's for a guy like Seibel I dunno how anyone can be beat up over it.

Manny's salary, especially considering this market, it not that big of an issue. If anything, Manny Ramirez is undervalued today. Why can't the Red Sox do Manny + $ for Broxton/Kemp/Penny? It seems like a perfectly reasonable deal for all parties considered. Of course I'd rather just keep Manny.

The difference is, Wells is actually worth it...unlike Burnett/Thomas.
