I would argue Goodell runs a tighter ship than Tagliabue.
You're beating the dead horse. I'm sure it goes on all over the place, but the Patriots were the morons who got caught.
Agreed, although if we have home field I feel a lot better, seeing as we own Lackey at home.
Shields has also struggled mightily this year.
Agreed, but do they have a sustained run in them? They faded down the stretch last year...
This is the team I wouldn't want to face. Great offense, two top flight starters, and a decent bullpen. I know we've won 5 of 7 this year, but I am not supremely confident against th Guardians.
That's the crux of it, getting in is important. From there, it's a crapshoot.
Every team is flawed, but in all honesty I think the Sox and Yanks are the least flawed.
The Tigers won a game Johan Santana pitched that Yorman Bazardo started for them.
Let that sink in for a second, and tell me anything is a freaking lock.
Hey ******* I've been in that boat for a month now.
PS Sox starters this series:
12.2 IP, 7H, 14K, 7BB, 3ER (1.10 WHIP, 2.13 ERA)
Yanks starters this series:
9.2 IP, 18H, 8K, 5BB, 9ER (2.48 WHIP, 8.37ERA)
Where are all the Yankee trolls now?
