May have been the worst strike call I've ever seen. Let me preface this by saying the Sox did not lose that game as a result of that call, but it speaks to the lack of accountability that these umpires have. How one can get away with a call that atrocious is beyond me. No s***, but a big part of Youkilis's value is that you don't have to pay him over $15 million/year. They're not that much different, the two. Tex is better but not tremendously so.

The Pirates are going to be looking for pitching prospects that can contribute to their club right away - they have nothing in AA or AAA in terms of pitching. If you want Bay you will have to consider gibing up a guy like Melancon because he's a great player. McCutchen for Nady makes some sense but if you think Kennedy is going to get you Bay then I don't know what to tell you.
