  1. I don't want to deal Youk for a 3 month rental and then *hope* we can sign Tex to a long term deal. The Yankees are going to make a HUGE push for Tex this offseason and as much as I'd like to see him on the Sox I'll keep Youk at his reasonable salary. His versatility and defense is very important to this team, and if he can put up a .850 OPS he's among the best 1B in the AL.
  2. f*** I thought I heard Berkman was hitting lefty. No matter Hamilton's got this
  3. Javier Lopez has been awful.
  4. PS I am amending my pick because allegedly Berkman's gonna hit righty. Josh Hamilton.
  5. So you're saying you like steroids?
  6. The 2RHR was a BOMB.
  7. Posada didn't like Burnett's Joba impersonation: http://www.nypost.com/seven/07142008/sports/yankees/burnett_burns_up_posada_119770.htm
  8. Mark Loretta? WHERE THE f*** WOULD HE PLAY
  9. That's for all of MLB though...this is a good chance to see all of the Sox prospects.
  10. Who do you like? I'm thinking the LHH has a decided advantage, so I'm going to go with a Hamilton/Berkman final with the Big Puma taking it down. RHH with the best chance to win? Ryan Braun.
  11. I have that shirt, and it's awesome.
  12. Starting Pitcher - Jon Lester Position Player - JD Drew Relief Pitcher - Jonathan Papelbon Bench Player - Casey, by default. He rarely got any burn later on in the 1st half. Best Game - Lester vs. Toronto in late April - Sox won 1-0 and was the turning point in his season.
  13. But if JD Drew doesn't perform when hurt he sucks, right?
  14. Wow JD misses two games in a month and all of a sudden he's fragile.
  15. JD Drew is my boy.
  16. The Fenway to Riverside T is pretty much always ridiculous after games
  17. JOSE VERAS! NATE MCCLOUTH!
  18. PRAISE JESUS HE'S SEEN THE LIGHT
  19. Wait, what? You were expecting Nathan in the 8th in that inning?
  20. Longoria and Hart get in on the fan voting
  21. He spent all his pimpin energy in the inning prior.
  22. But Doumit can't be had for a reasonable price. So, there you go.
  23. I think you should read my post. Why can't he play 2nd once every two weeks or so? Lowrie can spell Lugo, Pedroia, and Lowell. That's what I meant.
  24. Put things in perspective. Cash had three hits and Vairtek nine in June. That's twelve hits between the catchers. The Sox had almost double that, 23, yesterday.
