ESPN will do whatever they need for ratings, besides anything to distract from Kornheiser I am in favor of. I didn't mind it, but I have been a Favre fan all along though and this was his last trip (probably) to Denver.

I think 13mil for one year is worth the risk. Pitching is expensive and it's only one year...not to mention the clement $10mil a year is coming off the books

It's wrong to pin this on Pennington, but I understand why they finally made the move. In addition to being put in a bad spot all season, Pennington has been playing poorly.

I doubt anything but highlights make ESPN, and even those will be small becuase the major news is the arod opt out and yankee manager hire. You can view NESN online if you look hard enough

No of course not, I fully expect him to support his team. However there is a difference between being supportive and being delusional.......at least give credit where credit is due after getting swept in the World Series. (like your manager did after the game)

the irony of all of this is that Joe Gibbs, considered to be one of the classiest guys ever in the NFL, (and i agree with that) ran off the field Sunday instead of going over to shake BB hand after the game.
