I was definitely in the 'i don't want him' camp. However after I heard Rodney talk about it I started to warm up to the idea. He talked about how Moss just wants to win, whereas TO is all about himself. He said he would welcome Moss, but not TO......good enough for me!

Do you have a link to this? If he did it it's classless....but I'm skeptical considering what I heard from Peyton. Link? The first time they played he shook Mangini's hand....although it was very quick. The next time is the 'toss the reporter out of the way to hug mangini' game. I don't think much changed between them during the games, but I think BB was sick of the media making such a big deal out of the quick handshake that he did that to quiet it down (and it worked).. that's purely speculation on my part though.

Funny, because I saw an interview with Manning recently where he said he and BB were good friends..... he talked about back at the probowl this year where he and BB sat around talking the whole time they were there. Then went on to say that a lot of the players that were there (AFC players) got to know BB well and it completely changed their view of him as they got to see who he really is and not what they see on TV. (Adalius Thomas actually credits his time at the probowl as a major factor in his decision to come to NE)

I don't ever remember BB refusing to shake hands with Mangini...maybe i missed it somehow. I know he has a great disdain for the guy and probably has the record for the shortest handshake ever...but that's not refusing to shake the guys hand. After what Mangini did to BB, I can't really blame him for that...I mean here's a guy who was a water boy that you bring along everywhere you go, give him a job, promote him, ect.... Mangini works hard, but he wouldn't be anywhere near where he is without BB. So Mangini asks BB's advice on the Jets job opening and BB says "there will be plenty of great opportunities, but the Jets job wouldn't be your best option" Mangini then takes the Jets job while still employed by the pats, steals all the pats playbooks, laptops, ect... from Gillette, tries to recruit members of the coaching staff (and does take some with him), tampers with the whole Deion Branch thing, and more......................I don't blame BB for not wanting to play nice with Mangini. The reason the thread was titled that is I found this story on a pats message-board and just kept the same title

I heard on WEEI and Glen Ordway was sitting next to Paps parents and Paps dad called the pickoff right before it happened.

I don't care who critizises the pats, I've never said otherwise. I will defend them though if i don't agree with it. So when exactly did BB refuse to shake hands with a coach after a game? I would critisize him for that, but I didn't hear about it. I like and respect Manning and Dungy, it's Polian I don't care for!

Big surprise, you don't like the pats or BB.

For starters, that is the fans complaining and not the organization. I agree that Dungy is a class act, but Polian is the farthest thing from it (insert story of Polian ripping apart the Gillete press box screaming "break Flutie's leg" ) and complains to the NFL on a regular basis.

I do too...and since he said he only plans on playing one more year let's get it done.

I think 1 year is a no-brainer...especially if he's still in the $13mil range. If he now wants 2 years, i doubt it gets done.

Interesting...WEEI is reporting that the sox had a meeting monday night with the whole coaching staff. The meeting was led by 4 of the sox advanced scouts who have been following the rockies around for 4 weeks. Nice job guys!
