Just heard on WEEI that Sean Taylor was shot last night in his home in south florida and is in critical condition

I agree that they laid out a good blueprint, but you have to have the horse's to do it. Great job by the Philly coaches, especially Johnson the DC...he had a great game plan. Philly has a phenomenal offensive line (BB said it's one of the best or the best) and they did a great job because the pats had trouble putting pressure on Feeley.

See what happens when Vegas kicks out the biggest spread of all time! This shouldn't surprise us though, because Feeley seems to kill us no matter what team he's on. Tonight the problem is that the pats couldn't get any pressure on him, and he felt relaxed the whole game...maybe a little too confident considering the 2nd Asante INT. I understand why they called that play, considering they were aggressive all night but the smart thing to do would be run the clock down and have the sure fire FG if they can't knock it in....but not leaving Brady any time! Hats off to the Eagles, they played a great game tonight!

As a nebraska fan, i couldn't be happier to see him hit the road. I couldn't believe they canned Solich after a 9-3 season for him...now the AD and Callahan is gone!

Even if the pats end up with a super high pick, they will trade down....it's in their nature. I think Kansas and WV will play for it all; Kansas has the toughest road though with Missouri and the Big 12 Champ. I am glad LSU lost, I don't think they are as good as advertised....should be an interesting BCS!

You got me....he lied to the commish when asked about it, always proclaimed his innocence, finally had to agree to a deal, gets popped for drugs while awaiting sentencing and has to go on house arrest. Pretty stand up guy:rolleyes:

Should be a good match up next thursday with Dallas v GB. I think Dallas has the better team, but their one big weakness is when the opposing offense spreads them out......Favre should have a good day!

Papi talked about it (heard on WEEI) and said he did a trip like this once before with an "all-star team" and he said it took him 2 weeks to feel somewhat back to normal. At least it's at the beginning of the season and not the end!

There was a guy from the post on D&C this morning saying the same thing. (i think it was Joel Sherman) He said friends who aren't part of 'the boras camp' are advising arod that he needs to go back to NY....He said Arod is playing it careful because he has a lot of 'skeletons in the closet' and Boras knows all of them.

Shill spoke about it this morning on D&C, he didn't sound too exited. He also mentioned that DiceK's wife is expecting a child around that time so he probably wouldn't even be on the trip.

The reason they don't do it is because if a guy is on a team that doesn't make the postseason, then he's at a disadvantage...........although how often does a guy win it who isn't on a playoff team?
