    i hope Mauer isnt another player who can't handle the post season but he is young and tomorow is a new day. As it stands i believe the Twins have the best chance to beat the yankees but if they can't beat Oaklnad...

    wasn't theo intererested in him a few years ago ? and yah i iagree with you that it should have a lot of incentives. DIdnt David Wells contract have incentives ? If so than we should offer a contract to Petite similar to that one

    hahaha some kids at my school were like YAHHHHH PUNTO IS WINNING THE GOLD GLOVE! LOOK AT ALL THE DP'S and web gems and i was trying to explain that GOnzo has waaay more dp's and highlight real plays but they were like YAHHHH PUNTO! They also think that Morneau and Mauer are the best players in the game - I support the twins but at the same time i wanna see them get humiliated in the play offs to shut up all the idiot twinkie fans

Schilling puts shade of doubt on '07 Associated Press BOSTON -- Curt Schilling pulled the plug on the 2006 season Tuesday night and then let slip one little word of doubt about whether he'll be back for '07. "If I come back next year, I know that the offseason will be the hardest of my career," he said. Wait a minute. Did he just say if? "Well, going into next year," he backtracked. Schilling is due $13 million on the contract extension he signed when he waived his no-trade clause to come to Boston on Thanksgiving weekend of 2003. The money was an option that vested when the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series, thanks in no small part to Schilling. But he turns 40 in November and he lost most of 2005 to the ankle injury that sent his bloody sock to the Hall of Fame.     Schilling said hes not sure about 07 potentiial hole in the Starting rotation 07 Rotation sans schill Beckett papelbon wake (?) schmid /Matszuka meche ideal rotation right there but who knows - the FO could score a great pitcher via trade. Is Vincente Padilla a free agent ? id love for him to be signed by the sox in place of clement
