    Earl Woods was an alleged philanderer, many kids of adulterers become adulterers themselves. I thought Tiger was sincere, we'll see. I don't think his poor choices make him evil or bad, just a moron. Some guys live their entire lives without realizing that the best thing they could have going for them is a loving and loyal wife, and that if they just spent enough time and energy on their marriage that most of the rest of their life would fall right into place. Joe Kennedy was a serial adulterer, his sons wound up doing exactly what they grew up with as well. Do you write off JFK and RFK based solely on their multiple infidelities?

    Just at the corner store, said hello and quickly exchanged pleasantries. Understandably, he was polite but somewhat in a hurry. I would be too, if you stopped to talk with everyone who recognized you it would take a couple of hours to grab a gallon of milk. It can't be easy.

    I'm not sure. But I loved watching Aussie Rules. I remember getting cable TV in high school. ESPN, MTV, HBO...it was a whole new world. Before that, we had what was considered "great reception" in our neighborhood. We could pull in a dozen-plus stations over air with our rooftop antenna.

    Australian Rules Football? I remember when ESPN went on the air. They used to show some really great stuff - jetskiing, wrestling, tons of boxing. The broke into football airing USFL games. Chris Berman was from Cheshire, Dan Patrick lives a few blocks from me, there was a ton of local influence at ESPN.

    That's what I meant with the plexiglass application. They get squirrelly coming off the turns, the banking goes away and the walls get lower. At the speeds there traveling, they can get airborne when they wipe out almost like a race car at Daytona. If they make the walls in the straightaways higher, you'll lose much of the ability to view the run at the event. If they put up plexiglass, viewing would be maintained and the racers would have the wall heights they need to keep them on the run during a wipeout. They wouldn't be impacting the safety barrier as much as skimming off it on the way down.

    He usually has OK location, not pinpoint precision. And he has movement on his fastball, but not great movement. He throws fastball/slider, but it's really more of a 4 seam fastball/ 2 seam cut fastball. No curveball along with the AWOL splitter means little change of speeds, and everybody looking fastball. You can tell by the increase in walks, increase in pitches thrown, and number of two-strike foul balls that he's not as effective as two or three years ago. Throwing mid to high 90's just isn't enough to throw it by hitters anymore, not without a string to pull or other pitch to keep the hitters honest.
