  1. They hired a team trainer whose name is Kuntz. I wouldn't doubt that during the interview they asked him if he had a brother Mike.
  2. And with the number of pitches he sees as well. I like him in the #2 hole although I think it's a tad bit of a waste power wise.
  3. It was fairly entertaining because the game sucked and the chicks have their spaghetti string tops out in force now. Lots of bouncing boobs in beer soaked tops, jumping, yelling, pointing. It was a Man Show moment.
  4. MAJOR beer fight in box 92 - over a dozen people got ejected and at least twice as many beers were thrown. It was more chicks than guys, nothing beats watching drunk college chicks all sloppy and mouthing off to people who didn't even say anything to them. Well, maybe one thing.
  5. Just got back. s***** game, they were so flat today. Hit horrific traffic on the Mass Pike, just got there for the start. The only salvo was that I took my 9 year old Godson and Bay went yard. The kid was so pumped, he absolutely loves the guy. His mother is going to kill me, I took him to McDonald's on the way there then got him a dog, fries, chicken tenders, Powerade, Lemonade, and some frozen s*** in a squeeze tube inside Fenway.
  6. Much better tonight than Friday's outing.
  7. He reminds me a little of young Freddie Lynn, just a bit quicker with less power. He's exciting to watch because he plays aggressive and takes smart chances on the field.
  8. He looks like he's comfortable again and finding his groove.
  9. Clearly with the ability to throw 100mph, the guy has freakish ability. How can he not, with such gifted physical tools, throw the ball into a 400+sq in target from 60' away? When you talk about Lester having trouble with location, it's a difference of an inch or so. With Bard it's missing by feet. Is it mechanics that need to be worked on? When you talk about Buchholz and mechanics, it's about finding a motion and arm location that will give his arm longevity, but with Bard it's about finding a motion that will keep him in the zip code. You can't fix mental problems with physical solutions.
  10. Because of the fear in his eyes. He got the save the other night. Did he looked psyched? Did he look like he got an anticipated result? To me he looked relieved. He struck out the side and hit a batter. If you look at the stats or the box score, you'd think he threw well and maybe hit a guy who's out over the plate like Youkilis. To me, he looked like Nuke LaLoosh, almost hit everything but the mascot, and struck out the side because, quite frankly, he throws 100 and nobody in the park has any idea where it's going. Of course your results may vary.
  11. I don't believe he pans out as an effective MLB pitcher with average career longevity, and I don't think he does either.
  12. How long do you wait, until he isn't worth anything? He's tweaky, I have a bad feeling about him.
  13. Only the Yankees could ruin this kid's career. Maybe Cashman will hire you to be his hitting coach?
  14. Is this kid off the hook or what? Watching him swing is like listening to Mozart.
  15. Did you finish that? You're an animal if you did. My PB is 2 grilled stuffed burritos, 2 1/2lb beef and bean burritos, and a double decker taco. I miss the chili cheese burrito. Dammit, I'm out of here!
  16. Aside from that, it really should be pretty much off the table until September though, no?
  17. What did you get at Taco Bell? Thanks for getting me hungry. My wife and kids are in bed, and it's even money that I'll be in the truck within 15 minutes making a border run now.
