    i dont pay a lot of attention to anything that goes on in maine or rhode island but clay buchholz(sp) looks like hes ready to take the next step and people comparing agons offense to lugos at this stage of the season is premature and please dont compare the gloves,agon is unreal,lugo is very human sure the damon and petey deals look good now only becuase teams in ny were able to outspend us but we offered significant years and dollars that werent accepted damon was arguably nys mvp last year and petey may have been the difference in our 05 campaign(may have) both men are in pain now and both are wearing NY hats

    pedroia has really impressed after his shaky start lets hope he can maintain this level of play thruout the summer as far as dicking around with the lineup.....why?? why fix something that isnt broike? until they start losing i would leave well enuff alone

    nash was the best player in the league,he was remarkable all season and the suns really had nothing without him when he was out. dirk is a 7'0 perimeter player,he needs to assert more of a low post game because he turns into houdini quite a bit,if hes getting the ball 6 feet from the hoop he can use his height for better things than jump shooting. the 07 mavs have the legacy of being the team with the best record ever to fall in the 1st round and nowitzki had a lot to do with this failure those playoff#s mean s*** when you consider golden state didnt play defense for the regular season achievments i suppose you can give it to dirk but nash is right there as well

    the reality is theyre playing like a team that quit mathematically theyre alive till probably 9-15 but inside their heads too many have quit,including their manager i feel we hear will not deem them dead till the #s prove it,premature speculation hurts when youre wrong but the writing is clearly on the wall

    in 05 this front office essentially paid 19m for 1 year of another st louis free agent when we had a guy who wanted to stay here cheaper in cabrerra.. they did offer damon 4 years/40m and didnt they offer peter 4/54?? as well?? they paid lugo 36m the year after agon played the smoothest short stop here in my lifetime this offseason they spent like mad and the funny thing is the people delivering were here to begin with and the hi profile free agents,even matsusaka,have yet to shine... okijimna is another story altogether,hes the 07 version of the 03 papi story.. dice has been an inning eater and has a good record but i figure him for better #s as he adapts,20 wins with a 5 era isnt out of the question.

    1st sweep in texas since 73 the 78 season is a different egg altogether talie was graduating college at bob jones u and i was in 8th grade right in love with kelly mohan when i saw dent break my insides outside petnovs tv people forget we were down and out but rallied back to force the playoff game thart weekend that was a great softball team,our 9 hitter hit 30hrs but we had zimmer and they had billy martin who managed to win at all costs and losing wasnt in his mind ever 04 erased a lot of nightmares and cured a lot of anxieties, vinitieri helped out before that season as well all is well

    hes had a bulls eye on his ass since he bailed on philly its nearly impossible to live up to the huge expectations thrust upon him hes never had superstar #s,he has had some very productive years his problem is the perception of him being a candy ass and a me 1st type of guy honestly i dont know as hes been out in the nl gammons often compared him and not in a good way to nixon at the time nixon was playing and coming into his own in 03 drew was myred on the dl now 4 years later its trot who lost the big bucks due to injury and drew got the big deal after 14yrs in town i dont believe we offered nixon a dime?? i understand the business aspects of the game and i was never a nixon guy but damn..... thats cold anyways i s*** on drew constantly but in my soul i am rooting for nothing but success and redemption for the guy...i want some love back however im not a teenage girl or a fat broad who will suffer without question im a f***ing whore when it comes to my redsox

    duddys ab tonite against gagne was a thing of beauty to watch outstanding effort and a huge insurance run im not on board with duddy or drew but we play the hand we're dealt its not important what we think its important that the gm makes moves that improve our team i will never agree with them 100% of the time drew had a decent game last nite with 3bbs and had 2 hits today crisp had a big hit pedroia added and lugo did something positive,i forgot what it was but it was positive theos 3 new faces,lugo drew and pedroia,are struggling #s wise yet seem to do what it takes to help the club...its a team game and you will need all 25 guys at some point to help

    i think it was cheese dick baseball but it isnt a world stopping calamity arod has his reputation for picking on the younger no namers,let it go, why wake em up did anyone see meintxxxx??( i think that was him) get on today by acting as if he got hit?? that type of behavior is excused as gamesmanship and savy baseball by the fans.. but isnt that indeed cheating and possibly effecting the games outcome?? i find this behavior as well as blylevens sand paper or corked bats to be far more along the lines of what i define as cheating than any supplement an athlete puts in his body yet the majority of the fans dont comment or even feign outrage over this s***.. to each his own i guess

    yanks appear rudderless damon was their catalyst last year,abreu was a spark down the stretch say what you want about sheffield but he carried a lot of the swagger thats now missing theyre f***ed and its not 1978 no guidry no reggie no nettles no munson they got an ancient staff thats tutoring the young guys who may or may not make it but they sure as s*** aint making it happen in 07 the sox are in great shape
