  1. moss deserved a big check for his year but lets not suck each other dicks just yet. gay is gone samuel is gone colvin is gone(for the time being) i think the pats need to address a lot of the issues on defense and i know the pats need to run the football more consistantly or tom brady will be in traction come october. do we think that randy moss finally gets it? i do but i was disappointed in his playoff performance. moroney was decent down the stretch but they will need a guy who can carry the ball 275 times.
  2. gom im starting to like you not in the way men in prison like each other but more along the lines of your sense of humor. how many of those jeter jock straps do you have on hand? i know a couple of queers i work with who would blow the entire bronx for a jetsey jock. kilo favre retired for the 8th tim again today. i think the pack plays in february next year.
  3. raja clemens is a bleeding f***ing idiot and now the entire world has accepted what i have been screaming from bangor to belize for the last 12 years. david ortiz speaks better english barry bonds is now more respected and he brought all this on himself voluntarily,in fact its as if he tied the knot to the gallows and put the noose on his own neck has anyone seen or heard from suzy""miss yankee 2007"" waldman? has she killed herself for the good of baseball yet?
  4. good point heres another how many of these kids have dads? the latin kids are turned over at age 13 if they show they can play to men who have all the scruples of.....say sammy sosa or jose canseco. baseball is 12 months a year down south, lots of pressure and lots of tired arms. here we start in april and by the end of june little league is over. my 10 year played fall ball which opens labor day and ends mid october but for the most part in high school you finish in june unless you play american legion or senior ruth or for a town team. in texas florida and cali you have 12 months of camps guess what happens at these camps? exposure to the bad things happens.
  5. i tend to believe that possession is 9/10ths of the law bb based on the above %s and my tendencies to believe in math over everything i will address that issue accordingly. there are no time outs there is no sit down and listen to me there is no screaming there is justice and swift and severe justice at that. i had a cop catch me behind the library burning with a couple kids when i was in 8th grade. he took me home rather than bust me. ""err andy i found your kid smokin weed behind the library with julio and the vaz brothers""...... i cursed that ********** for the rest of my life because he knew the difference between a juvenile court and the court of king daddy-0.... oooof
  6. we understand the ny mentality here very well. after all we have gone to school with ny kids and also know the socially retarded people in our area who need to kling to a winning team to inflate their self esteem. we all know a guy who has been a life long cowboy 49er or pittsburg fan,a life long yankee fan,a life long canadien fan who's kids now love detroit but most of these guys always loved the celtics and now their kids are life long spurs fans. fredo steinbrenner?? who gives a fiddlers f*** what the dough boy says, every time he opens his mouth joe girardi swills maalox and the rest of baseball understands that big george mustve jerked off 10 times before he impregnated the swine who bore this f***ing idiot. go sox
  7. weed stays essentially forever in your blood stream something like 30days if you smoke a J,chronics are worse off if he got bagged on saturday and tested clean on monday he wasnt smoking dope
  8. thats why he got elected twice he ran against 2 complete jerk offs who were too aloof and condescending to the public. if al gore won his own home district in tennesee he wouldve been on his 2nd term and little corkey bush wouldve been delegated to f***ing up one of the businesses his saudi goombahs gave him. alas americans like the john wayne types, even if these john wayne types are figments of a propaganda machine that can turn a male cheerleader who was awol for his flight physical into captain america. jesus christ almight this country needs a bitch slap
  9. ha this guy made more undeserving ball players millionaires than george steinbrenner ask bobby bonilla ask andy vanslyke ask that other bastion of good will jeff kent matty williams?? etc... all these guys were good at 1 time but hitting with bonds in the lineup made them all superstars... of course hes an ******* so was steve carlton,so was reggie jackson was thurmon munson a beacon of harmony or was jim ed rice a bubbly person in the clubhouse? point is baseball is full of f***ing jerks going back to ty cobb all the way to todays **********s like arod and sheffield... if i were an al club, say like chicago or even toronto,a mid level club that has a couple of bucks to spend and attendence issues to maintain i would take a pop with him. if he ends up in detroit look out... in the a.l in a limited role it isnt out of the question that he can go 25/80 in 100 games.
  10. mannys #s havent changed in 10 years of pro baseball ortiz is another story nomar wasnt named in the investigation but stevie wonder could see this guy was busting out of his body when he was a rookie who went from 160 to 190 in 1 year as an adult. ironic how ny loves andy petitte,a liar a cheater and a f***ing rat bastard who had his dad pump him up congrats mr petitte, you're the voice of yankee ethics..... this my friends is the f***ing disgrace of it all. as someone above noted who really gives a f***? i do like the fact that clemens is about to do the perp walk f***ing idiot wanted to press and press and press and lie and lie and lie well raj now you're wide open to indictment and lets hope that indictment comes after 1/20/09 so corkey cant pardon his buddy before he leaves office... federal time isnt that bad the only issue is you have to serve 2/3 of your sentence and they tend to make you do your time close to where youre tried....clemens will be well received in the fed pen in brooklyn, all those italian kids who loved mike piazza and the mets will be waiting to give raj a welcome he wont soon forget....
  11. gw should spend all his time in these events he was funny, human and interacted well with media types and ballplayers. 1st time in 7 years this wanker made me smile.... and as long as hes doing these gigs he aint f***ing anything up.
  12. he pulled a claude rains in the playoffs and not for nothing but brady hasnt had a good playoff game since that saturday nite in denver and he wont ever have the weapons he had like this year again. now that doesnt mean another year together wont bring some better timing between the 2 men but what more could we possibly expect during the season? rarely does a wideout come onto the scene and have a year like moss has and if he gets a long term deal and is happy he should approach record #s again. however i would like more out of him in the playoffs.. 18-1 and i am disappointed this is what too much success does for you as well...
  13. any reason beckett dont make anyones list or am i reading these perameters wrong?
  14. not to go off the mark here but i spit my coffee all over the key board remembering back to an igawa start last year igawa was getting knocked around early and in the yank ingame thread jackson was telling us the 4 pitch arsenal igawa had and how he was figuring him for 175 ip and 14 wins.. as the game went on by the end of the 3rd inning igawa was down 7-1 and i recall jackson bellowing out ""THIS GUY SUCKS"" after his 1000 word essay on how wonderful an addition he would be.. no offense mj just something that comes to mind every time i see you mention igawa and success in the same page....i expect big things from him this year...15 wins ez i cant wait for april this is the 1st college hoop season i just cant seem to get into bc sucks pc sucks umass sucks uconn is ok but not a final 4 team with no local interest and no real studs out there to follow im apathetic about one of my top 3 sports for the 1st time in my life.
  15. do you know what kevin faulk gives to charity every year or what he donated to the city of new orleans and other gulf coast cities ravaged by katrina? what does the possession of 4 f***ing blunts have to do with charity anyways? he can get more dangerous s*** legally from the pats trainers if he wanted to.
  16. thats another point mj look at all the people dropping before 60 and theres a great chance they were smokers it does so many bad things to so many different areas of your body thanks for the kind words hammer alls well for the most part in the mighty valley of the blackstone
  17. both my parents smoke still and theyre both 65. my dads circulation is cooked,he has an aneurism in his head thats ready to burst,so big he was told 13 years ago not to make plans for new years eve,hes still living each day like captain morgan taking spanish town....every time the phone rings at odd hours i expect a hearse to be in my driveway... my mother was Pyne Flowers bride of the year in 1964 and a former miss worcester county 1962... she looks like shes 80 because of the damage tobacco has done to her skin and the combo of raising us while working the 11-7 shift in ER for the past 42 years... plus she is a creature of the sun she gets out of work in the summer at 7,gets a jug of wine, the lawn chair and the dogs and sits outside watching the world go by for 12 hours a day. smoking kills the sun also kills 6 uncles all have melanoma,my dad has melanoma,my mom is in the process of being treated for its symptoms. we have the education now that they didnt have back then there is no excuse for anyone who is a smoker and again,be very careful playing in the sun as well.if you've seen the damage they can do 1st hand its an education that you willl forever be able to pass on... respect the sun and dont smoke you'll live a better, longer life
  18. my 3 granparents who smoked died before 65 1 that didnt died of cancer at 77 her sister who smoked died at 66,her husband who smoked for 40 years died at 62 the oldest brother, who marched with patton from algiers to berlin just died in may at age 96.... cigarettes kill and they destroy your quality of life before you die this isnt questionable or up for debate just ask any of us who have seen family members rot into a toothpick as they scream while pissing and beg you to put them out of their misery
  19. ive never liked the guy but id rather see him in pawtucket than in columbus perhaps they could redefine his role into a set up guy if he isnt throwing hard he is toast so he maybe more effective in short bursts
  20. tobacco kills everyone my friends
  21. i do things at work that would make most men cry themselves all the way to a priest for confession daily and i have no moral objections about doing it because my kids need to eat and my wife enjoys electricity. what i would do for a contract that would financially secure my family and all their offspring for eternity isnt printable material. lets just say i would do just about anything with the exception of harming family members or innocent children... injecting hgh in my blood stream doesnt seem like an issue when i think of some of the other things ive done for short money.
  22. http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/obituaries/articles/2008/02/21/charlie_stand_considered_legend_of_high_school_diamond/ this was the best baseball man i ever knew and a man who was the father to 3 generations of baseball players.... rip coach baseball will never be the same
  23. the redsox pitchers dont put a lot of priority in holding runners on base and then you have him breaking in dice k(which i feel he did a lousy job of if you want a legitimate bitch with him)...then the rest of the staff all throws hard splitters which are difficult to handle when your 16,never mind 36... tek calls a good game he knows his pitchers inside and out and with the exception of the handling of matsusaka this year and his inability to help josh bard in 06 he is a solid catcher and a great teamate. he shouldve stepped up to handle wakefield rather than throw bard into the fire. hes the captain that was his move to make
  24. I, however, have been known to exceed speed limits to match traffic flow. Accordingly, I can comment that Pedro probably juiced, but I can't fault him if he nice analogy william
  25. the sox finished the season 2 games ahead of ny but they essentially had a post season slot tied up with 6 weeks to play and they were able to sit some tired arms and legs down the stretch. it reminded me so much of the yanks in the late 90s we'd be battling for our playoff lives and would make a run, meanwhile ny would be resting their staff for an entire turn in the rotation and we'd have to send pedro and the pretenders who at this time were exhausted. petey was great and all but never a guy who could go on 3 days rest like becks can christ if petey went on 4 days rest he was shaky. i say matsusaka improves big time and gets his era under 4 the sox should again win the division in a race that is close till august
