  1. Okay. Fine. The D-Backs will probably win more games than KC this year. I just really wanted to see how hard it is for a Royals fan to argue in favor of his team. God bless them.
  2. Russ Ortiz blows. You mention the people they gained, but the ones they lost are far superior to those that they gained: Javier Vazquez and Troy Glaus. Now take the bad team they were last year (77-85), subtract their best hitter and second best pitcher. Arizona and KC will each probably win games in the mid-60s. Edit: Oh, and that 77-85 was in the worst division in the baseball. KC plays in an outstanding division. Also, add another year of age on Luis Gonzalez and Shawn Green...
  3. News flash: I AM TALKING ABOUT THIS YEAR. It's not like they broke the bank on anyone either.
  4. He could be a much better player if he passed the ball more. Now teams know he is going to shoot so they can start to double team him and stuff...
  5. Even if those guys do play, do you expect them to be Superman in the first ABs/years of their respective careers? At least the Royals improved by signing some decent free agents. Arizona signed no one.
  6. ...and that young talent just happens to be in the minors. I'm talking about THIS year. Stephen Drew, Justin Upton, and Carlos Quentin will be in the minors this year. Unless you're talking about Brandon Webb, you don't really have a valid point here, and still, having Webb is not going to change much.
  7. I think the D-Backs will contend with the Royals for the number 30 spot this year.
  8. He got outmanaged by Tito in the '04 ALCS, but that is just one series and Torre has proven himself to be an excellent manager.
  9. Jsinger, you need to give it up. Your posts make little to no sense right now and even if I can make out what you are trying to say it is still stupid. Do you even understand the lottery? You don't have to be a terrible team to get the number 1 pick, it's not like football. It's a random drawing of the 14 teams not in the playoffs. How about the Celtics try to win, and if they get into the playoffs, great, it's good experience for the young guys. If they don't, THEN you can start thinking about draft picks. Besides, when you get into the playoffs, it's like a whole new season.
  10. No, Yeszir said.. Were you trying to help anyone/anything? Hmm...
  11. I knew you would jump on that YH.
  12. The Sixers had Iverson drop 33 with 7 assits and Webber drop 24 with 13 boards and still lost. I think I'm going to go puke now...
  13. That's just the January archives too, so there's more. Kind of weird...of the 2 guys who write the site one is a Sox fan and the other a Yanks fan.
  14. Haha yeah, was that the first time you've read that site?
  15. La Russa: http://www.sportsblah.com/2005_12_01_archive.html Go down to "Dodgers are Dumb, La Russa still creepy" Hilarious.
  16. Woah! I missed that.
  17. Solid predictions...but Nixon, Lowell, and Youk are a bit optimistic. Oh, and where's Pap and A-Gon?
  18. Last year we were the Astros, and we went into the playoffs with the worst record. So in the first round of the playoffs we had to play the best team and it was the Yankees beause they went 14-2. We owned them. The fact that it was the Yanks made it sweeter too.
  19. Haha what whas that thread where you were like welcoming someone and all the sudden you're like..fjsdofhufyOIFF OH s*** PAUL PIERCE WHAT A STUD
  20. Key word: attacking. He stahted it.
