    I like this idea. However I think our rotation for the future already looks pretty promising (Beckett, Matsuzaka, Lester, Buchholz, Bowden), but this move would give us a lot of flexibility. I don't know if Papelbon's heart would be in it as a starter though. :dunno:

    Middle school and high school players are still developing and should be allowed to use metal, but I think college should switch to wood.
