    If he hacks it up out there, it will be mentioned. I don't know when or if he has played the OF in his career. It is not an easy transition to make at the major league level if you have not previously played the OF.

    A 10 game losing streak and a 5 game losing streak (and counting) within a month does not bode well for this team. I don't think they are getting hot enough to climboutof this sub-.500 hole to be competitive for the division and the Wild cards are a long shot too.

    Defensively, he is very solid, but I can't imagine that he is better than Vasquez, who looks like Pudge Rodriguez behind the plate. I'd bring him up. He needs to hit only .200 for it not to be a mistake.

    Being on the Interstate means that he isn't above the Mendoza line. He is batting .198 since we got him.

    We need to move on from Ross and get Vasquez up here. Ross has not been able to get off the Interstate in almost 1 1/2 seasons.
