Isn't most of the merchandise at Fenway sold across the street at the Twin Enterprise store? Are they a third party. I don't see a big potential for Panda merchandise sold at fenway. I didn't notice too many people at Fenway with Panda paraphernalia.

I thought under the mlb licensing agreement that revenue from mlb licensed merchandise gets shared equally.

I thought that anything licensed by MLB got shared equally by the other teams.

The 2015 team is dead. It crashed and burned in spectacular fashion. This is without a doubt the earliest that a hot stove thread has been started. The FO had thrown in the towel on the 2015 season, so their focus is on 2016 and should ours.

I agree with you. There is no good reason to keep Napoli in the lineup. He is not hitting. He is not part of the teams future. He is not helping the team win. Playing anyone there would be a better idea. If they are thinking of moving Panda or Hanley there, let's start the experiment. To keep rolling out Napoli is pointless.

If there is even the slightest possibility that Farrell is part of the problem, he should be gone already. The manager always goes first, because it is easier than firing the entire roster.

Jeter was an infielder who just aged and lost agility and ability. He had instincts. Also, an error or misplay in the infield is a single and an error in the outfield is usually extra bases. The difference here is that Hanley is just not an outfielder.

We will have a clearer picture at the end of the year. Right now, things are looking good for him.

What is all this about Panda's marketability? What payment streams could the Red Sox tap with regard to Panda that wouldn't have to be shared with the other 29 baseball teams under the licensing agreement? We don't need him to sell tickets. The place is always filled.

Paul O'Neil on the Yankee telecast last night noted how Hanley just doesn't look natural at all in the outfield. He doesn't move like an outfielder. He is clearly out of position. I don't think you can fix that.
