  1. You knee jerk reactions are annoyingly stupid. There, I did it again. I can do this all day long if that is your standard.
  2. Calling people haters for expressing an opinion about player(s) is obnoxious stupidity.
  3. Forgot him. My bad.
  4. It will be very hard to retire without a defined benefit pension plan. Those have become to expensive and over regulated and they have all but disappeared. 401k’s weren’t designed for adequate income replacement in retirement. They were designed to supplement DB plans. Also, gone is the concept of career employment at a company or firm. I don’t envy people of your age.
  5. Yes, I didn’t forget about him. I do like his bat. I was only talking about guys on the 25 man roster. He was on the occasional shuttle.
  6. Re-signing Nate has turned out much better than I thought it would.
  7. I love day baseball.
  8. Kike, Schwarber and Sawamura were Bloom’s good acquisitions. The rest were bleh to yuk.
  9. I told you that days ago. He will be getting an extension.
  10. It is funny how it worked out. Bloom turned out to be the right guy for the job and I underestimated his moves.
  11. My argument was never that there would be or wouldn’t a cliff. My argument was that there was no reason that a team with the resources of the Red Sox SHOULD experience a cliff. Abbreviated 2020 was bad and I did think 2021 was going to look bad, so the cliff looked like it was here. However, Bloom proved me right in demonstrating that rebuilding could happen without a cliff.
  12. I was right in calling the possibility of a cliff a myth like Bigfoot. A team like the Red Sox should be able to rebuild while continuing to be competitive. Bloom has been able to achieve both. You are being too hard on Moon for being wrong.
  13. Okay whatever. Btw, I don’t read most of your posts— too wordy and extremely boring and often irrelevant. Just my opinion.
  14. Journeymen do have good stretches during their careers. They need to to stay in the bigs. Thank goodness Robles is having possibly the best stretch in his career at this moment. But he is not a good pitcher. At the beginning of his time in Boston when he was balking and causing problems with other teams, the WEEI game announcers declared that he had no place on the roster. Robles has temporarily proved them wrong too. This guy can turn into a complete pumpkin at a moments notice. I’d rather ride an inning longer with a starter and have Houck or Whitlock go 2 innings to cut Robles out of the BP rotation. That’s my opinion.
  15. I had already admitted that I was wrong about 2021 a long time ago. I wasn’t asking you the question to get an admission from you. It was honest curiosity to see if you think the cliff is yet to come and maybe 2021 is an aberration. Of course, you think that I am just trying to stick it to you. I should have known better than to try to engage you in a civil discussion. My bad.
  16. He has to be MVP. And Devers is the one -armed MVP
  17. Whitlock and the boys saved Cora’s bacon again— no horse hockey.
  18. Keirmaier has been killing us for years.
  19. The team will have to cover for Cora again.
  20. Never make the first or last out at 3B. What was Dugo doing?
  21. Renfroe is pressing AB and in the field.
  22. Franco finally makes a mistake.
  23. You are such a douchebag
