1. Rotation 2. Farrell

I don't know what he is, but it is pretty clear that Vasquez has elite skills behind the plate. Swihart does not and no amount of work will get him there. We have plenty of other position players, so there is no burning need to keep his bat and change his position. I think that he will just be a backup if CV stays healthy, but right now he has a higher trade value than he will when he is a backup.

Is Lincecum still out there?

Swihart would have a lot of trade value. He could be part of a package to bring back a pitcher, and imo, DD should not wait too long. If his defensive skills do not start improving, his trade value will go down. He doesn't carry a Johnny Bench-like bat. He has a good bat, but maybe not enough to overcome his defensive deficiencies. d'Arnaud of the Mets had very high trade value at one time, but not now as he has been exposed defensively. He can't throw out anyone. Bringing back a #2 type pitcher will cost us, and we have a glut at catcher.

I am a geezer, but even if we were wearing Stevie Wonder specs we would still be able to figure this stuff out from our transistor radios. Lol!

The offense has done it's job as has the bullpen. The rotation has not done its job.

you have to make that play. Trumbo had trouble with the wind yesterday too. He was charged with an error.

He has a long way to go defensively. He has had trouble blocking balls, and not just on the knuckleball. His throwing release and footwork are slow.

The O's lineup wears out pitchers, and they are missing Adam Jones. You can't give them any outs. That Swihart error could result in a big inning that buries us.

I don't know why the announcers were praising Trumbo's AB. Buch got him to foul out but Swihart gave it back. He will be in AAA soon working on his Defense. His D has been atrocious thus far.

Shaw has a good glove and reliable arm. He can handle third base. I don't need any metrics to figure it out.

Good Buch tonight. We need to get to this kid Wright.

Practicing to be a DH. Doing his Hanley in the outfield imitation.

Shaw with another nice play at 3rd base.

I cut and pasted it here, but oddly, it did not look like a table where it originated.

Hoping for Good Clay.

It is not promising that they play tonight's game?

Booing Yankees is encouraged.

How does the weather look for tonight's game?

I don't think hometown fans should boo hometown players, especially on opening day.

And the O's did that to us without their best player.

Exactly, Machado will always be better than Xander.

Price and Kimbrel combine for 8 runs in 6 innings. Go figure.

panda's good side was sitting on the bench and Holt would just have moved back to LF. If Farrell has to make multiple moves in a game he gets a brain cramp.
