  1. Shaw should never sit for either Holt or Young. He hits lefties better than Holt and Young stinks
  2. O'Sullivan isn't an answer for the rotation.
  3. He is excellent against lefties. He hangs in very well and sees the pitches well. He usually puts up very good ABs against them.
  4. He is benefitting from my at the game mojo tonight. He still stinks. Craig Grebek (sp) would hit with me here. LOL!
  5. LOL! No boos for Shaw getting thrown out at 3B.
  6. Manaea is garbage. Lol! He got destroyed.
  7. Just like the 2003-2005 offenses jumping on teams early for crooked numbers.
  8. Don't slide head first into first base, please.
  9. Hopefully, my in game mojo will help Young.
  10. You would need to watch the game with a scientific calculator.
  11. He's not worth giving a spot in the rotation, because that spot becomes a 3 month hole that will cost a premium to fill. To maximize Clay's value, I would have exercised his option and then traded him.
  12. Damn it! I hate missing Ortiz when I go to the game. This will really test my at game mojo.
  13. I would be very comfortable with any of them coming out of the pen.
  14. Let it all out.
  15. All stats are imperfect and all stats are reflective/indicative of ability and performance (even RBI). They are all necessary supplements to good scouting and they are great for fans who can't possibly watch 30 teams regularly. As for this question as to OPS being "imperfect", I am not sure what you mean by "perfection". It is a nice little tool that is easy to use-- add 2 numbers. You don't even need it to be listed to figure it out. If you start including multipliers, it is not such an easy tool to use.
  16. Go Red Sox. I will keep the at the game mojo going.
  17. By that point the place was more than half empty, so the idiots tend to stand out when the crowd is thin. It wasn't prolonged or vitriolic, but it was noticeable. It made me chuckle, because it was ridiculous. I think people were cold and getting antsy to leave. I left in the top half of the 8th. How did the A's get the final 2 runs.
  18. The Ortiz pop up RBI single was pretty funny. I guess that it evened out the 2 rope line outs.
  19. Yes, there were boos. Pretty shocking in light of the game he had and the score.
  20. He had a grand slam and 6 RBI and people booed him on that play. Unbelievable.
  21. Save some for tomorrow fellas ... Oh wait, I will be here again. No problem.
