They had no shot yesterday with i Ortiz and A700Hitter at the game mojo working.

And Farrell did his best to give away the game.

Sitting at the Cubs game last night, I saw what we are lacking. They have 2 aircraft carriers in their lineup-- Bryant and Rizzo surrounded by nice good professional hitters. We are missing the centerpieces who make everybody better. The pitcher's have to approach those guys differently to keep them in the park. We don't have those threats. Losing Papi will have a cascading effect. We will not have 3 guys with 30 fingers this year. We will probably have 1.

I would have sent Pomeranz out for the 7th until he gave up a base runner

I haven't been impressed by his glove so far and not in Spring training either. He wanders to far toward second base too often. And his hands are not The greatest on picks

Putting words on my mouth... but yeah they do.

I see that Yankee pitching is getting bombed tonight. They just showed some long HRs on the scoreboard. It does my heart good to see that.

    Weather phooey. It mojo

Damn I suck at calling stuff!

Bogey ready to launch. Calling it

Ahem, when I come to the games, they score. It happened last season in the A's series that I attended.

A hit parade! Let's knock Arrieta out of the box early!
  13. a700hitter
    Munchkin Power!
  14. a700hitter
The HR was launched by Bryant. Lots of Cubbie fans here tonight. Entitled bunch of Midwest jack asses

The Yankees are definitely playing over the heads. Their pitching will not keep up their recent performance is not sustainable. As for our offense, we are going to have a big down tick losing Big Papi. That HOF bat does not leave without it hurting. People who think otherwise are kidding themselves.

At the game mojo for A700Hitter. Normally, I am very confident at Fenway, but our band of munchkin hitters are missing their Big Papi. Maybe we can move Lego Papi into the dugout for intimidation. I am here to give Theo and his Cubbies hell!

So we have to go back 88 years to find such futility, and Carigan probably had the lowest payroll in the league.

DD did not add a quality stick after losing Ortiz's war club. Encarnacion went for a reasonable amount. What about Napoli? A power stick was needed and they were available.
  19. a700hitter
This is true, except some states try to deny refunds if you file more than 2 years late.

We stink. We scored 4 runs for Sale in 5 starts. We faced other pitchers who dominated us. They caught us in a cold spell. Don't be surprised if both of them them get lit up in their next starts.

You would have to go back a long way to find a Red Sox manager with 3 last place finishes. Has anyone done that?
  22. a700hitter
This one was a slam dunk.
  23. a700hitter
Only the second shutout of his career.
  24. a700hitter
I hope they get a big head about it, because we can't hit anybody.
  25. a700hitter
We lose 40 homers and 115 RBI and we replaced him with nobody. Get used to lots of low scoring games with our lineup full of midgets.
