1. Just thinking ahead since I have so much time on my hands.
2. We raped our farm system for him. We gave up Margot (hitting .250 for SD) and ... and... uh... and... some nobodies.
3. Didn't know that. I just don't have much confidence that tonight's lineup can put up 4 or more runs which will be needed to win if Porcello gives up more than 1 dinger.
4. Porcello needs to keep the ball in the park tonight. If he gives up more than 1 HR, we are toast.
5.

Saturday's Red Sox vs. Rays game moved to 1:05 p.m.

Due to sustained periods of rain expected Saturday evening and into Sunday, first pitch of Saturday's Red Sox-Rays game has been rescheduled to 1:05 p.m., moved up from the originally scheduled start time of 7:10 p.m. In consultation with Major League Baseball and the Tampa Bay Rays, the determination was made that the earlier start time would provide the best chance of playing the game on Saturday. Tomorrow's forecast for the Fenway area calls for sustained periods of rain to begin in the late afternoon hours and continue into Sunday, with temperatures in the 40's. Fenway Park gates will open at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday. No ticket refunds or exchanges will be issued.

6. I don't think Texas will sell yet, but maybe in June. Beltre took BP the other day and has been taking grounders. He will be back soon.
7. This year. Last year, not so much.
8. My bad. I tried to include all the choices, but blew it by omitting an obvious one.
9. Let's get some more responses on this poll and get it to DD. LOL!!
10. I am a little more succinct and a bit crude: If the Queen had balls she would be the King.
11. At least we had excitement many years. The Cubs were consistent suck except for a few years with Prior and Wood.
12. I find it interesting that so far people are hopeful about Devers filling the hole at 3B in the second half, but noone has mentioned any hope for Panda. That speaks volumes to me.
13. I thought the Rangers had big plans for Gallo as a power hitting 3B.
14. He could stop gap until Devers takes the job.
15. I think cost should be low as Texas would be dumping salary and Texas in last place.
16. Beltre is coming up on his final contract year. The Rangers are in last place and Gallo is ready to take over as their future 3B, so they should not have a very high price to deal him. Beltre is still a tremendous fielder. That would plug our biggest defensive hole, and he can still drive the ball out of the park. Sandoval could still take many of the ABs against RHP, but I would give Beltre the bulk of the ABs.
17. Greinke taking a no-no into the 8th inning against the Pirates.
18. He is using Kimbrel when he needs him. It makes no sense to leave him sitting there while the game slips away. I am getting fed up with Barnes' act.
19. Mookie is no choker. He needs to bat behind Pedroia to countdown on the DPs Kimbrel has been untouchable. He has 10 saves and 2 wins in our 18 team wins. Who were the guys we traded for him? Good luck to those nobodies.
20. Benintendi and Bradley couldn't manage a flyball.
21. Now for the journeyman Rutledge.
22. would be perfect
