Ben dismantled a Championship starting staff and brought back nothing. I hope he enjoys getting coffee in Toronto.

Not Freddie Lynn-like but the homer was!
  3. a700hitter
True, but if you lose, I have found it hard to find losers when it comes time to pay. LOL!

How could Benintendi not get that ball. Terrible jump and he didn't even come hard for it.

He reminds me of Mike McCormick who came up very young to the big leagues and was mediocre until age 28 when he won the Cy Young for the SF Giants with 22 wins and 2.85 ERA. Everyone thought that he had found himself. In the years that ensued, he never found it again.

Says he who is watching the game on air conditioned comfort.
  7. a700hitter
Thanks. 2016 was an aberration for Porcello. He is a career 4 ERA pitcher period.

Cashman has 2 more World Championships than Theo.

Send the dues and I will take your motion under consideration. LOL!

Porcello is sucking again. I can't believe that I am wasting my "at the game " mojo on this turd and sitting on 90 heat.

I don't know why he didn't let Pom take care of his own mess. He works out of trouble pretty well and is very capable of getting the K when needed

And his was the best start of our pitchers in the Yankee series.

I need to see if Rutledge can hold down the position defensively and offensively. I don't need to get a sample size on Pablo. He just can't field the position anymore. He is not learning the position. He just can't field it adequately anymore.

i didn't say dump Pablo tomorrow. I would just keep playing Rutledge until he loses the job. If he can hold down the job until the ASB, I would dump Pablo. Is a month long enough to satisfy you or is it still too SSS. In either case, the answer is not Pablo. He simply cannot field the position adequately.

They roll over for the Yankees and they play is like every game is the 7th game of the World Series.

If Rutledge keeps hitting, I'd cut Pablo loose. You just can't put that beach ball in the field. He's terrible.

we are not hitting HRs. That is how to score runs in today's game with all these shifts. You can't get enough hits on the ground anymore, so the players are lifting the ball and the advantage goes to the big guys when hitting the ball in the air. The correlation of OBP to run production is no longer as direct in today's game. The importance of the HR is increasing. I don't know where the break even point is but I would be willing to give up 15 percentage points on OBP to be the top HR team.

My son in law gets TV through PlayStation Vue and I don't think it has Fox. Damn!
  19. a700hitter
    Is this game on NESN?
  20. a700hitter
    Mighty Midget Bradley!!
  21. a700hitter
More warning track type power from the elfish outfielder.
  22. a700hitter
He and Bogaerts have been the entire offense lately. Let's see if Dancing With The Stars Benintendi can get a hit.
  23. a700hitter
But for Hanley's idiotic base running, this game is tied or we are leading.
  24. a700hitter
And he wants Moustakas. That is the guy that I want. He is a very solid fielder. For my money, he was the best fielder on the KC championship team.

I agree, and then it is all on the coaching.
