    The piggyback idea isn’t working out. I am not sure what the reason is to take out the starter when he has given up 1-hit lost in the sun and thrown only 68 pitches. If the advanced stats dictate that, they are worthless.

    Benintendi is ripping the cover off the ball. At the time, I said that they sold low on him. And now, it can’t be disputed. The guy is not a superstar, but his talent puts him at the level just below. He will make the All Star team this year and last year he won the GG. But we saved a couple of million. This goes on the negative side of Bloom’s ledger, and I predict that his bringing back Bradley will also goon the negative side.

    There are lots of playoff spots under the current structure. They basically need to play .500 ball to stay in the hunt. But this team has glaring holes.
