  1. Our medical staff stinks.
  2. And let's not forget the who Japanese market that it opened for the Red Sox...not! Dice K's $102 million contract and acquisition cost was very big for the day and it was a big waste. It brought in no market or $ from japan.
  3. Why was Beni batting for Betts?
  4. It isn't boneheaded if it works. When Hamilton tries to steal second base, the defense does well to keep him from stealing 3rd on the same play.
  5. I don't think that he has any chronic health conditions. I wouldn't be concerned unless you believe in the notion of "injury prone." I thought that statheads had proved "injury proneness" to be non-existent along with other non existent myths such as clutch, hot streaks, impact of managerial game moves, importance of line order, lineup protection, the disruptive quality of offensive speed and the importance of any single play within the context of a game.
  6. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval’s reunion with the Giants this season has been a disaster from a statistical standpoint, as the former franchise linchpin has batted just .213/.253/.346 in 146 plate appearances in his return to the Bay Area Ugly numbers -- a complete and utter failure. And his defense is the bad part of his game.
  7. We should be able to dent this tomato can on the mound for the Reds.
  8. Here is the Red Sox' batting order with Doug Fister on the mound: 1. Xander Bogaerts SS 2. Dustin Pedroia 2B 3. Andrew Benintendi LF 4. Mookie Betts RF 5. Mitch Moreland 1B 6. Rafael Devers 3B 7. Jackie Bradley Jr. CF 8. Sandy Leon C 9. Fister, Doug P The Red Sox' Magic Number stands at five games, with John Farrell's team entering Sunday with a four-game lead on the Yankees in the American League East.
  9. Are you trying to cast a hex on us? LOL!
  10. LOL!! I am recycling this one today. The dangers of electronic communication.
  11. Nunez keeps getting pushed back. I hope that he gets back in the lineup before the regular season ends.
  12. I haven't been on the site for the last few days, but I wanted to check in to see if my buddy, iortiz and his family and friends made it safely through the earthquake in Mexico. I am hoping that we hear good news from you.
  13. Colon knocked out and the Twins started a parade of pigs from their bullpen. Yanks lead 9-3.
  14. And your point is that it wasn't a cheapie. RF in Yankee Stadium is a joke.
  15. And they did a great job of overhyping this kid and getting a get return for him.
  16. Back to back HRs -- game tied.
  17. Judge with a cheapie to RF Twins 3 Yankees 2. This movie is a rerun. The ending will not change.
  18. Severino at 66 pitches in the 3rd inning.
  19. 3-0 Twins, but 100 yr old Colon is pitching for the Twins. At least Gardenhire isn't their manager anymore.
  20. I never viewed the price as steep, because i don't place a lot of value on 18 year old pitchers, unless the guy is 6'6" and already throwing 98.
  21. Through what kind of filter do read posts? Seriously, your credibility declines with every post. Did I say that I like HanRam over Moreland as a fielder? I can't discuss things with you if you are going to continue constantly misrepresenting what I say and making wrong assumptions.
  22. Hopefully, the Yankees will have a loss on the board before the game starts.
  23. A Softball is thrown with 3 fingers. Maybe he has small hands. I don't think 3 fingers would affect accuracy, velocity maybe, but he has good pace on the ball.
  24. And both arguments are just dopey and boring.
