  1. Mastering the discussion.
  2. You are not getting it are you? I don't give a s*** what you think or believe. If it makes you feel better, you can declare victory, and I will not dispute it other than to say that you haven't proved or disproved anything.
  3. Good for you.
  4. Why? Do you believe that you are God?
  5. Let me say this once again. Do I need to put it all in caps? I am not trying to prove anything to you or to make you believe in anything. You are the one trying oh so hard to invalidate it. So, go ahead and come up with some hard data to disprove it, but first come up with a definitive measure that would establish it.
  6. After this inning, it might not be worth it.
  7. I have asked him to prove his case, as I am not trying to prove a case.
  8. Does brain dead JF think that the 7 run rule is in effect in the post season?
  9. That is what I am thinking.
  10. When will JF use Price?
  11. Pom with another Porcello.
  12. No, you have it backwards. I am not tryig to get you to believe that it exists. I don't care what you think. You are the one intent on disproving it. You are rigid in your belief as you have set an impossible standard at 51% success, which defies the physics of baseball. So give me some good hard data that disproves it or a measure that would convince you. Otherwise, we are done.
  13. You are the non-believer. You provide the measure that would convince you.
  14. My Great Nephew has committed to UConn to play baseball.
  15. Farrell is brain dead. It is that simple.
  16. He's a doofus. He doesn't get enough sleep for day games for both brain cells to recharge.
  17. In what situations? And 51% is ridiculously extreme. Basically, a player under that measure would need to have an OBP in high leverage situations that would be higher than Ted Williams lifetime OBP. That pretty much invalidates your position as your measure would be impossible to attain.
  18. We need Pom to come up big today.
  19. What would convince you? Provide a measure that would definitely convince you?
  20. We need him to get hot with the bat today.
  21. I asked you what kind of definition or measure would convince you that clutch exists and your answer was very vague. None of our measures satisfy you because they are not definitive enough. You give us a definition that would convince you.
  22. Why didn't he get Price up early when it was obvious that Sale was flat and had given up two first inning home runs. When does Farrell plan on using him. It is a short series.
  23. I asked this earlier, but you still haven't responded. I have just said that clutch is an attribute -- one that would exhibit itself in different ways. What kind of measure would satisfy you? And how would you arrive at it? You are the one saying that it doesn't exist. Tell us what kind of measure or statistics would convince you of it's existence.
  24. What happened to Nunez?
