    You don't know what you are even talking about. From 1967 on the Red Sox have consistently fielded competitive winning teams. Until 2012, they only had a small handful of seasons finishing under. 500. Their worst losing period since 1967 was after the 86 yr period that you reference so mindlessly. It was 2012-2015 when they finished last 3 of 4 years.

    The play that I wonder about is the ball down the line that stays in the park that the umps call foul, but that gets overruled as fair. If it is a line drive and the batter doesn't run because the foul call is made, placing the runners can become a very difficult decision. Would NY place the runners or would the umps?

    Cora should carry 3 catchers and only 10 pitchers in the post season so that he can PH liberally for the catchers. None of our catchers should get more than 2 Abs in a game unless it is a blow out.
