LOL!! Good point. There isn't a big dropoff. This team's catching reminds me of the '67 Sox. They would PH for that slot 2 and sometimes 3 times a game.

If price gets us through 8 innings with a 1-0 lead, we will need to say a prayer or sacrifice a virgin to the baseball gods before Kimbrel takes the mound in the 9th. He has given up 2 game tying HRs to these guys this season.

Cora has been making moves like crazy the last few game -- really using the expanded bench, but Holt PH'ing for Moreland I don't get.

Earlier in the season, I was at Fenway and Price was pitching a gem. He had a shutout with 2 outs in the 9th inning. Leon, who hadn't made a mound visit for the entire game, trotted out to Price to impart his wisdom. The next pitch resulted in a long home run. Shut out gone. -
