    About 2 weeks before the regular season ended, I heard some sports talk radio guy in NY talking about the A's going with a bullpen game against that Yankees to save Fiers for the ALDS. I just chalked it up to filling dead air and sports talk idiocy. i really can't believe that Melvin is going down this road. This is a Denny Galehouse move.
