They are fielding 1 star batter (Devers), 2 good professional hitters (Turner and Yoshida) and average bat (Dugo) and a bunch of bums. This lineup is not capable of good run production. And we can’t blame it on injuries.

Let’s hope that he doesn’t end up like Daniel Bard.
  3. a700hitter
None. There is no one worth the price of admission on this team. Devers maybe. But not at Fenway prices and Fenway inconvenience and discomfort.

3 HRs with the wind blowing in.
  5. a700hitter
Like I said, he is taking an ax to the game.

Wink is taking an ax to this game.

Kluber’s contract was like flushing money down the toilet.

    lol!

And I would be in a better mood if Bloom got reassigned to Boston Sanitation.

Development of pitchers by the Red Sox in the last 10+ seasons has been atrocious.
  11. a700hitter
Bloom was picking up garbage in between games of the double header. Maybe he is preparing for a new career.
  12. a700hitter
    This defense is horrible.
  13. a700hitter
    Beyond stupid.

As I said on Friday night, it is nice to have hammers in the pen. Last year, we would have been swept.
  15. a700hitter
I hope that mediocrity isn’t his goal.
  16. a700hitter
    But it wasn’t.
  17. a700hitter
I’ll take a hammer like Jensen in the pen every season. Last year’s pen was a disaster. You can’t go for a very long run without a hammer and not have it cost you games.
  18. a700hitter
It is nice to have a top closer. Last year, the pen would have given away this game.

    Neither can Kike.

How much more rope does Casas get?
  21. a700hitter
He’s awful, and he has been over the hill for at least 3 or 4 seasons.
  22. a700hitter
Almost 1/3 of the way through the season and we have 2 starters sporting ERA’s over 6!
  23. a700hitter
We had 9 uncles and we liked them all while they were alive.
  24. a700hitter
The Rec Sox sending out a lineup of nobodies.
  25. a700hitter
Jansen ERA 2 days from 0.77 to 4.26
