    You are still missing the point. If Sexson is not an elite player, that is a separate question. Whether a player is elite is not directly related to how many times they K. I illustrated this point by using ARod as an example. That was my original owning of you. Since you don't know when to stop getting owned, I'll spare you. I'll ignore your next poorly reasoned post. BTW Really, register for a logic course. It will help you argue more effectively.

    Gonzo is the every day SS, and he is the best defensive player on the field. There is no reason to be sitting him this often.

    This doesn't follow logically. There were a couple of years where no one in the game could be compared to Bonds. Did that mean that ARod, Manny and Pujols were not elite players? Of course they were, but none of them compared to Bonds. Saying someone is in the elite is not automatically a comparison to the others in the group. It merely means that the player is being identified as one of the best in the game. Some are better than others. Perhaps a course in logic would help. Name-calling in reaction to being owned is always a very convincing argument. I am tired of owning you, so please stop embarrassing yourself.

    I suggest that you re-read my post. You said that you could not be an elite offensive player if you strike out 150+ times a year. I merely pointed out the fact that ARod has struck out 131 and 139 times in the last 2 years. He is, as you stated, in the top 5 offensive players. I think his high K totals rebuffs your theory on the relation of K's to whether or not someone can be an elite offensive player. I made no comparison between the two players. Before you make an assumption as to the meaning of a post and call it the "dumiest post of all time," you should take a second read of the post to make sure it says what you think it says. I clearly did not make the comparison. You are double owned. BTW What is "dumiest"? My goodness. Also, I think the term "elite players" can be extended beyond the top 5 players.
