  1. He pulls the strings. That's why he states everything with such conviction.
  2. You are the only one that has missed it. He's been feeling sorry for himself and whining all season long.
  3. He didn't have his good stuff earlyon, but as with all great pitchers if you let them off the hook they find a groove. Halladay was in a groove when Gibbons came to get him. He was making easy work of the Yankee batters. Edit: No 2nd guessing on my part. I called him an ******* before Ryan threw a pitch ti the "G" man.
  4. I couldn't believe it when he came out of the dugout. He's an ass. Can you imagine how he would be crucified in Boston.
  5. He's got a 3-1 count in his favor. He walks. Nice move by the Toronto manager. Halladay was in a groove with a low pitch count and he takes him out after getting an out. What an *******!
  6. It couldn't hurt for the Sox to take a look unless the word is that his arm is damaged.
  7. You had to know he was going to have problems with intestinal fortitude when he disclosed the fact about his numerous psychiatrists and the benefits of therapy.
  8. ARod has been whining like a little girl about his treatment. He should be ashamed.
  9. It was a makeup of a rain game, and they have to travel to Seattle to play tomorrow night.
  10. These games are likely locks for the Mariners. We have to hope the Yankees lose a few.
  11. I agree. I am not even disturbed by the low HR output; however, he seems a bit worn down right now from the biggest workload he has had in 3 years and the heat. This team needs Nixon's glove and bat big-time, and right now he is still more valuable to the team's fortunes than WMP.
  12. Maybe the price has gone up.
  13. He might be a little worn out. This is the most he has played in 3 years. Giving WMP some time could have the benefit of recharging Nixon.
  14. What's next-- a Parade for Jeff Frye?
  15. Timlin with a 1-2-3 inning for the save.
  16. Timlin avoids being hit by the broken bat but covers 1st in time to get Matthews for the second out.
  17. Timlin in for the save. He gets Barrajas on a pop to RF for the first out.
  18. MDC with the filthy curve for the last out of the 8th.
  19. It looks like Timlin will get the save opportunity if MDC holds.
  20. You will lose a lot in the field. Nixon is a far superior fielder. I'd actually rather see WMP play a little CF for Crisp if he keeps hitting in the .260's.
  21. Nixon with a terrible AB with a man on 3rd and one out. Two checked swing strikes and a popup.
  22. Damn Barajas! Nice play by Loretta. Schilling's starts are pretty close to "must wins" with the shape of the rest of the rotation.
  23. who the hell is this guy Littleton? He has a real funky delivery. He has the Sox looking bad.
  24. He's got two hits
