  1. Thuuuhhhh Yankeees Loooose!!! Thuhhhhhhhh Yankees Looooose!!!!
  2. I'd really like to hear the defense of the Yankee fans of Kay on this one. He's such a smug jerk. Edit: Let's not forget that he declare the Red Sox dead last week. I'd love to watch the Red Sox stuff it up his smug ass and win the division knocking the Yanks out of the playoffs.
  3. How dare that jackass, Michael Kay call Cal Ripken's streak an "albatross" for the Oriole organization. This is not the first time I have heard him say this. How come he doesn't say that the Gehrig streak was an albatross for the Yankees? Certainly, there were days before his fatal illness that he should not have been playing. I have read that they put him up leadoff in games and took him out after his at bat to keep the streak alive. It's things like this that make M. Kay a pompous ass jackass.
  4. I may go afterward to urinate on the site.
  5. With at least 5mph more on his fastball than Lester.
  6. Ramirez, Crisp and Pena. Who is the 4th? You find a place for a player of Wells caliber. He's not just good. He's on the verge of greatness. If Pena can't play 1B, you trade Crisp. You get the young stud if you have the chance.
  7. Good riddance to him, but when he's a FA the Sox should pursue him.
  8. I couldn't agree more. He's damaged goods. There's no reason to go near him. They need to look elsewhere and not waste their time even considering this guy.
  9. I heard Sterling say that Matsui has been shut down for 10 days or 2 weeks when he will be examined. That gets you almost to the end of August. I don't see him being activated by September 1.
  10. Remy is an excellent color analyst. He doesn't overdo a point or beat it to death like most analysts. He's informative and points out some of the finer points, but he doesn't beat you over the head with it. Plus, he's as funny as hell.
  11. I guess the Red Sox will not go after him because he is too old and on the decline.
  12. I first watched him play in ST 2005. I think he hit a HR, double and single. Everything he hit exploded off his bat. Dunn and Papi hit tape-measure jobs as well. It was an unbelievable display of power that day. Wily Mo opened my eyes, because I knew very little about him.
  13. How is he after getting hit in the head?
  14. Vent away. Welcome.
  15. Welcome.
  16. It's amazing he has over 90 RBI with Ortiz cleaning the bases in front of him like he does.
  17. He is 4th on the PawSox in OBP and Slugging, behind the feared Corky Miller, but he is first in OBP and he strikes out seldomly.
  18. He's won lots of games for us in earlier innings and on the road.
  19. DFA'ing "The Ultimate Loser" Jason Johnson would improve the staff.
  20. Manny being clutch for the win.
  21. We've argued that one to death.
  22. DFA setting the table again with the lead off walk
  23. How many balls does he get to? I couldn't find the stats. BTW: My point is that Loretta is a pretty solid ML second baseman, not that he is a gold glover. He doesn't hurt teams with his defense.
  24. He has 5 errors in 102 games. Loretta has 4 in 108. How much better could Pedroia be?
  25. We need him to go 2 innings if necessary.
