Let Gom have his fun. I am sure that he was riding pretty high last year when the Yanks faced the sputtering Tiger team that played well under .500 in the final month. The Yankees were steamrolling into the playoffs and the Tigers looked like nothing but 3 games of fresh pavement. That didn't turn out too well for them.
