  1. I give Schilling a bit more slack here. The ump's zone has been tight. that should be to the advantage of our lineup.
  2. Schilling needs to get assdribble here.
  3. Why is this ass-wipe Ken Rosenthal part of the crew for this series. he adds nothing.
  4. Nice play by Lowell. The Ump continues with his tight zone.
  5. Carmona at 94 pitches. Hopefully, he'll start leaving his pitches up a bit and they get him out of there next inning.
  6. Pedroia keeps swinging at the pitch inches from the dirt.
  7. Peralta looks pretty locked in right now. he looks like the kid running up to the plate to hit.
  8. Why the hell did Tek call for that high fastball on Garko with 2 strikes? As ORS has said before, that pitch is Tek's Kryptonite so he thinks no one else can hit it. Garko was having trouble with the ball down in the zone and he's such a slow guy. He was a DP waiting to happen on a splitter.
  9. Lowell with the clutch 2 RBI hit. The lineup is just working these guys over. His pitch count is around 80.
  10. Manny's third bases loaded walk. He's a bad man.
  11. Pedroia needs to get selective and get some hits
  12. Nice hitting by Crisp. Carmona is not bringing the ball up at all. When he misses, he's missing low.
  13. He certainly doesn't remind me of the kid who practically ran up to the plate because he couldn't wait to hit.
  14. That was a nice turn by Lugo and Pedroia.
  15. Pedroia swung at two pitches in the dirt.
  16. I didn't think the park would hold that one.
  17. Ump has a tight zone. Edit: I should have bet the over
  18. You are laughing, but that pig is considering whether he wants to pitch again next year. He's running out of suckers.
  19. Keith Foulke will be attempting a comeback. If he's healthy, i wouldn't mind giving him a spot in the pen. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/articles/2007/10/13/foulke_planning_comeback/
  20. This is good news for Sox fans. This will help the Yankees retain their aging superstars for contracts that go well beyond their days as productive players. I am sure that they will also break the bank to keep ARod until age 30-40. That should prompt Captain Giggles to march into Cashman and demand and get a 3 or 4 year extension when he has 1 maybe 2 years left at SS. All of this, of course, will detract from their real need --- building a pitching staff.
  21. I don't think you use Ellsbury for anything other than a pinch runner or late inning defensive replacement. You don't start experimenting in the ALCS. Crisp has been a great fielder this year. Ellsbury certainly is a talented outfieler, but he has not played enough at Fenway to be familiar with all the angles and caroms. It took Crisp a whole year to get to this level of play. I don't mess with it. Ellsbury will get plenty of PT next year.
  22. Game saving diving catch by Taveras on a blast by Tony Clark
