  1. This is definitely the hardest he has thrown all year. They look helpless.
  2. Nice take out slide by Papi, but the little man drives in the go ahead run.
  3. All weekend Pedroia has gotten the key hits late in the game to drive in big runs. That kid Ellsbury runs like the wind. He is worth the price of admission. Kids got all the tools and the ability to perform in the limelight.
  4. In the end, it will be the Yankee fans who be most vocal about running him out of town. I couldn't care less if he stays or not.
  5. Plus, I don't think much of Hansen at all. Timlin does the job.
  6. I am not rooting for that. As long as Timlin can throw 90-91, he'll get in a groove and be a very useful member of the pen. His command has been a little off, but he'll regain that.
  7. Me too. I hate bringing in Timlin with men on base.
  8. I didn't have a problem with him starting Bruney, but with him using Kennedy in relief after he let Farnsworth mess up the game. If he was going to use Kennedy, he should've used him after Bruney. As for his analysis as a broadcaster, I was not impressed. He went on and on about Manny not running out a ball that looked like a HR in Cleveland, but Manny only got to 1B. The announcers got on him when he did it and rightly so. In the end his failure to run didn't cost the Red Sox, and in fact his hit drove in the winning run of the game. Girardi's post game analysis should have focused on how the Red Sox won the game, but instead he raved and ranted about something that had no impact upon the outcome of the game. He never once mentioned that manny drove in the game winner.
  9. Timlin is going to be the 8th inning guy tonight without MDC in the pen. Fasten your seatbelts. It could be a bumpy ride to Papelbon.
  10. Is that his 4th blown save already?
  11. Here's where the big time pitchers make their money. He's almost out of this jam. Big time guys get out of this. s*** like Pauley give up the lead.
  12. Mirabelli was too old a slow to get out of his crouch to make that throw.
  13. His versatility is a big plus. He plays two positions with Gold Glove quality. He is an absolute offensive monster in April and May, but he is yet to break .290 or hit 20 HRs. He does K alot, and he is on the slow side on the bases. I think he is a perfect fit for the Sox, but i would not rank him as a top 20 guy.
  14. Ellsbury is finally making a statement that CF is his. It should've been a 2 run HR. Lugo got robbed by the Ump.
  15. Did you notice that they shook Pauley's hand and handed him his bags. They led him to the Pawtuckett Shuttle and gave him a one-way ticket.
