From what I can see, his Minor League experience is limited. Buchholz and Lester had more extensive experience in the minors and both had better records at AA. Neither Buchholz nor Lester stepped into a rotation spot and performed consistently at the beginning. I don't expect that Joba's journey will be markedly different.
Wow, a shot at the iconic Jeter and nothing in reply from Gom or Jackson. They must be stunned after they confirmed that Jete has a lower OBP than Lugo the Terrible.
What is with the A-hole HP Ump? He punches out Coco on a strike 2 that looked like ball 4 then he cops an attitude. What a jerk. Use your clicker and remember the count.
Remy is making a good point that Ellsbury could have stolen home standing up. The third baseman was playing SS and the pitcher went into a full wind up.
I've seen much worse in a Red Sox uni. I've got no gripe with Tavarez. He gave his best, shut his mouth, and he was a good team mate. He made some positive contributions on the field.
I don't know if Little was under some sort of formal pitch or inning restriction for Pedro, but he clearly managed to those limits consistently throughout the season. Every one, including Pedro, thought that his night was done after 7 innings.
People were going a little nuts this weekend in Paris. I was watching the game, but fell asleep after 72 or 74 minutes and the game was still scoreless. How'd it end up?
