    No, but if I had a 140 mph serve coming at me, it wouldn't matter if the crowd was hooting and hollering. I have very little regard (for various reasons) about any sports other than Baseball and American Football, and football is a distant second to baseball. It is just my preference. I hope I didn't piss you off. I wouldn't want to risk losing a valuable worldwide restaurant reference source.

    The 2000 Red Sox had every bit as weak an offense, maybe weaker, than any of Koufax's Dodger teams and the 1962 Dodger team had a very strong offensive team with many different weapons. They had superb speed and power.

    We've got Carter and he has options. They can bring him up here and there to give him a taste of the majors. Maybe he will become a good major league hitter, but there is no certainty. He is also defensively challenged. Casey is a lifetime Major League .300 hitter witha good glove. The Sox were not going to be able to get him if they waited and Carter didn't work out. I don't view having Casey in the majors and Carter with options in the minors as a negative.

    If Joba were not in the rotation, he would have been in the game in the 7th inning at some point. Instead, Girardi had no choice but to let Pettitte get into and try to get out of trouble. He had to pitch to Guillen with the sacks full after he had already homered once.

    Captain Clutch pops out to RF for an inning ending DP. The Yankees fail to take the lead 5-5. DJ's second DP of the day. He's looked positively Lugo-esque this season.
