    A late start to the game thread due to some terrorism committed on the site by a former mod. Ellsbury has become an automatic out. He needs to be dropped in the order when Ortiz comes back. Youk should get moved to the 2-hole behind Pedroia.

    Mike Sweeney, former batting Champion from KC did not play this weekend. While the Big Hurt wasn't on the A's for the firs series, he was on the team and he played in May, and he put the hurt on the Red Sox.     After today, the Red Sox have 3 games left against the Angels. The Yankees have 10 games left against the Angels.

    It could be 2 after today. We are playing on the road where we suck against a team with the best record in the league while the Yankees are playing at home against a little league team. It doesn't change the fact that the Yankees suck this year.

    High fast ball in the middle of the plate to Anderson ends up in the RF stands. That's not surprising.

    THe DP killed the opportunity for a big inning. I'd move Pedroia to the lead off spot and batYouk 2nd, especially when Ortiz comes back. The lineup will have plenty of length with Lowell and Drew batting 5/6 or 6/5. I don't think batting Youk in the 7th hole is the best use of his talent. When Ortiz returns, I'd go with the following line up: 1. Pedroia (the Destroya) 2. Youk 3. Ortiz 4. Manny 5. Drew 6. Lowell 7. Ellsbury/Crisp 8. Tek 9. Cora/Lowrie When Lowrie plays I'd think of moving him to 7th and dropping Ellsbury to 9th depending on who is hot.
