I really am baffled that Ellsbury wasn't running when Pedroia was up. He's a contact hitter that has been hitting at a .400 clip. If Ellsbury got cut down, Pedroia leads off in the 8th. Just stupid game management. -

I thought Ellsbury would attempt to steal during Pedroia's AB. If he had been running on the hit, he probably could have scored on the hit.
