  1. Don't sink to their level. I am rooting for Mo to get the next two outs. If he gets the W, I'll thank all of the Yankee fans for giving us the home field advantage in the World Series. They will love that.
  2. Where were your angry posts when Jeter hit into a DP or when he left 2 men on in his last AB? You are not an Optimist. You are a hypocrite and a bitter troll.
  3. Yes, you seem despondent.
  4. Papelbon is off the hook. What to do with Mo? Ha ha!
  5. Yankee fans are so bitter and confused that they can't even root for their own team when in the All Star team. Pathetic.
  6. It's tough to take an "L" when you haven't given up an earned run and you struck out 2 in one inning. We'll just have to live with the fact that he sucks.
  7. They are real dicks. If you lived in NY like I do, you would know never to cut any of them a break. Ever.
  8. Tampa should never have players on the All Star team.
  9. Now the classless Yankee fans are chanting "over-rated". What classless jerks!
  10. Yankee fans didn't know whether to cheer the Red Socker Drew or s*** themselves. What happens if the game is tied going into the 9th? Will Mo pitch the 9th? If he doesn't, he may not get into the game. If he does and the game goes 10, he will not close it out either.
  11. That's our guy! Drew with the 2-run HR!
  12. Since they play different positions, I am assuming that you mean there will be a comparison of their hitting. My question is if you are just comparing them as hitters, why wouldn't Pujols be in the debate, or Ortiz, Manny or Berkman for that matter.
  13. I think Whitey Ford should close the game.
  14. Captain Intangibles has done what he does best-- hit into DPs and leave men on base.
  15. Does Reggie's HOF plaque have a Yankee cap?
  16. Oh goodness, George is already crying.
  17. I don't recall the Yankees being booed in 1999 at Fenway.
  18. Booing players at an All Star game? A new low, but I'd expect nothing less from low life Yanke fans.
  19. Is that Rod Carew or Robbie Cano. I'm glad Bill Mazeroski is there. My cousin who is a Yankee fan threw up for two straight weeks after Maz's game 7 HR in 1960.
  20. If Joe Torre was managing, he have his guy close regardless of the circumstance. He never demonstrated any conscience or sense of fairness when selecting the team or managing the game. If I were Tito, I'd go with Papelbon to close, because he'll have something at stake. Mo doesn't, and I don't trust a Yankee with our fate.
  21. The classy Yankee fans booed the Red Sox players.
  22. Erin Andrews looks like a gawky nerd tonight. I thought she was supposed to be hot.
  23. Drew is really learning to go the other way. Nice bit of hitting there. 1-0 Sox.
  24. Pettitte just gave up a 3-run HR to Scutaro for a 4-0 Blue Jay lead in the second inning. The Blue jay lineup looks like a cross between that of a AAA and an Independent League team.
  25. Starting Pitcher: Jon Lester Position Player: J.D. Drew Relief pitcher: Jon Papelbon Bench player: Sean Casey Favorite game: Weekend against Texas-- April 20-21st. The Red Sox won both games in comeback fashion with three runs in the 8th on Saturday and 4 runs after 2 were out in the 8th inning on Sunday.
