    It's unbelievable how Toronto can bash Beckett's 97 mph fastball all over the park, but Wakefield's puss ball has them making meek outs. I think if the Sox win one of tomorrow's game, Halladay will be pushed back and pitch on his regular day.

    Burnett and Halladay will be on 3 days rest. If the Sox win 2 of the first 3, they might push Halladay back to normal rest.

    The Red Sox are safe if they take 3 of 7 from the Jays and 1 from the Rays. This weekend they'll miss Halladay who pitched tonight.

    I think my point was clear in my earlier post. You can agree or disagree with statements that Schilling makes, but for anyone to say that he should zip it or that he has no right to say something because he didn't play this season is just acting ignorant.

    I might be concerned if Toronto was only 5 behind, because the Sox have 7 games against them and they are hot. The Jays are 7 games down. I'm not worried about the Twins. They still have to play the Rays and the White Sox. The Red Sox are ahead of both the White Sox and the Twins. They'll be busy knocking each other off. It will be hard for the loser of that battle to catch the Red Sox.
